Would that all trial judges were like Justice Capella! He knows the law and the rules of evidence, and his decisions are reasoned and thorough. At the same time, he is unfailingly pleasant and courteous to parties and attorneys. He is simply the best judge it has been my experience to appear before, and I have been practicing for 36 years.
