Judge Dowd needs some refresher courses on the law and should be schooled in the concept of justice and not just practice "business as usual" especially in the case of foreclosures.

It is just to easy for him to throw people out of their homes when it is evident that the plaintiff bankers do not have the evidence. He is one of those judges who does not seek real justice, he is more interested in clearing cases from his calendar using technicalities of law.

Is it any wonder that most people have very little faith in the legal system. Judge Dowd does nothing to improve the distrust people have in the system.

It is another case of a small town judge who rules over his small kingdom. I attended a class at SUNY Morrisville where he is know as the "hanging judge." I assume this has to do with criminal cases. When it comes to meting out justice in civil cases, he should be known as "empty pants."

His knowledge of the law especially in foreclosure matters is scant and lacking. Not very probing. Acts more like a spectator at the proceeding.

His rulings seem partial and in always in favor of big money.
