Possibly the best judge in Queens County. Extremely bright and knowledgeable, yet modest. Perfect judicial temperament. Talented law clerk. If we only had more judges like this one ....

Though I am an attorney, I appeared before him as a litigant. He had us in on a non-calendar day to see if he could aid in settlement. He's very bright and unquestionably experienced and he grasped the nuances of each side's position. He doesn't hit you over the head with his smarts either. Very subtle and humble. The antithesis of pompous -- as I've found some judges in that courthouse. If we settle -- and I don't hold out too much hope since opposing litigant is beyond obstructionist -- it will be because of this Judge's efforts above and beyond what is typical or was expected.

Maybe the best judge in the county, and is seen that way by both the plaintiff and the defense bar.

I have tried a case as a plaintiff in front of the Court and lost, and as a defendant and won, and felt the same way about the Judge both times.
