Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: NY4428
Rating:10.0
Comments:
Even tempered, fair, smart, gives thoughtful decisions. It is a pleasure to appear before this judge and I wish all judges had his same demeanor. I appear before him on guardianships and Judge Hunter just gets it right.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: NY1835
Rating:5.6
Comments:
Smart, but imperious. Can quickly get nasty to the attorneys, including in front of the Jury. Makes self unavailable at key points in trial to the random detriment of all concerned. Makes it hard to make a record. Staff (Part Clerk Ms. Pehr) was terrible, seeming to take offense at everything, to the point that you just couldn't ask her anything without walking on eggshells.
