Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: NY9572
Rating:2.2
Comments:
Worst judge in Kings County. I have been before this judge more than once. He confuses plaintiffs and defendants arguments, he makes rash and nonsensical rulings, and he wastes time on imaginary issues that neither party raised in briefing. Time for him to retire

He makes me ashamed to be a lawyer. I wholeheartedly agree with the other reviews.

Civil Litigation - Private

Rating:2.4
Comments:
After observing what I first thought was pleasant demeanor I witnessed the real Judge Walker who was not only rude and obnoxious, but exhibited little patience and no willingness to hear both sides of the argument. In short, he utterly lacks judicial temperament, is unpredictable, and is a horrible addition to the Kings Supreme bench.

Comments:
I have been on trial before this judge twice and he was awful, dictatorial, obnoxious, and very partial to the plaintiff, which was so obvious to the jury that it actually accrued to my benefit in the long run. I won my trials in spite of this judge, who did everything he could to railroad my client during the course of the trial. My client sent a representative who made a generous six-figure offer, and he threw the representative out of his robing room in a very mean-spirited and disrespectful manner. The jury ultimately award the plaintiff $0.00, so the judge was foolish not to get the plaintiff to settle the case. He was horrible and was later transferred to the criminal side of the court, much to the pleasure of many lawyers in the Bronx who practice on the civil side and were glad to be rid of him.
