Gary Weber belongs behind bars in jail. Not sitting above the laws he breaks on a Bench.
He is a lying p.o.s. Involved in mounds of organized Criminal activity for decades.
Including fraudulent deed transfers in Westhampton Beach late 80s.
Mortgage Fraud with known financial criminals.
Involved in stealing property from the estates of the deceased in Probate Court.
Also malicious prosecution of targeted individuals. In exchange for fraudulently procurred and satisfied mortgages on his fraudulently acquired property. The Porch and Patio Building in Whampton Bch.
Low life Pond Scum.

Weber is a disgrace to the judiciary. It is incomprehensible that he is a judge.

This is in my experience one of the worst judges in NY. Weber shoots from the hip and doesn't eveb bother to know the law. His conferences in his "chambers" are run like a saloon meeting. Cronies sitting around reading newspaers and making open comments on cases they are not involved in. Weber's decisions reflect his cavlier attitude to serious legal issues. He is biased and basically a political hack. He should not be a judge.

Comment #: NY2992
I would give Judge Weber a zero if I could. My cousin was killed by a drunk driver. This judge acted as if he didn't care about that and even joked during the proceeding. He only sentenced Goss to 6 mos---she's free now and my cousin is gone forever. I have subsequently learned from attorneys who know Weber that he himself has an alcohol problem. What was he doing on this case?

Judge Weber fell asleep during the rape trial of a 15 year old child, and then acquitted the defendant. He is a disgrace to the bench. The joke that is made about him among lawyers is that you knew for certain he was asleep when you heard the thud of his head hitting the table. What he did was no joking matter.

Excellent judge. More on the bench should be like him.
