Tends to doze off during testimony. Tends to do crossword puzzles during testimony. No thorough legal research done in Chambers. Nice fellow, but that's not what litigants are there for.

Genuinely terrific judge. If everyone on the bench were like Justice Wright, we wouldn't all hate our jobs. I argued before him recently and he immediately grasped the nuances of the case and heard both sides out without yelling at anyone. I hear he's new though, which might explain why he still treats attorneys like human beings.

Recently took a verdict before Judge Wright. An absolute pleasure to be in front of him. Doesn't raise his voice nor does he have an ego problem. Good listener. Treats everyone with respect. You do not walk out of his courtroom ranting or raving or worrying about your blood pressure.
