BEWARE OF THIS JUSTICE. She is BIAS and PREJUDICIAL. She'll cut you off, make rude comments, to intimidate you. Especially if you're pro se/indigent. STAND UP TO HER! Remember, she'll rule against you. She is still a human being. Fight back. Yell back. Don't let her bully you. Just show up in court knowing the facts of your case, relevant statutes and case law. Stand your ground!

I found this judge to be a pleasure to work with. She has always been fair, despite the fact that I haven't always gotten what I wanted.
I believe she's gotten a bad rap.

Rating:1.1
Comments:
Judge Weston was exceptionally unprofessional and biased. She had an end result in her mind and did everything in her power and behind the powers provided to her by election and statute to bring about that result. She altered the outcome of a complex med malpractice case and has no business being on the bench. The fact that she is a former DA makes her conduct that much more egregious.

I found this Justice to be unbiased and fairly easy to work with. You either love her or hate her.

Comments:
She is one of the worst judges in the system. She is totally pro-defendant and tries to turn friendly comments or even a "good morning" into a grudge match. She has been trying to get to the AD for years, so far without success. She is so biased that it sometimes goes against the defense, since it is obvious to the jury that she is taking sides.

Awful judge. Cannot believe that she is in the medmal part. More suited to be the Kings County Dog Catcher than a judge. Will probably be promoted to App Div because the OCA doesn't know where to hide her.

Comments:
This judge is completely biased and imposed her biases on a complex trial. I am unsure as to whether a global defense bias exists, but in our case she clearly didn't "get it" and did her best to rig the case for the defense. There is also a real question of cronyism. This judge is disrespectful to attorneys in front of the jury. Scheduling with her is a nightmare (it dragged out the trial unreasonably). She has the ability, but she is unsuited by temperament in my opinion to judge complex cases with a lot at stake.
