I seen this judge in a big money case act like he was a ROME GOD, Moreover he had a junk plate on his wall to the left that said I DON'T CARE WHAT LAWYERS DO IN COLUMBUS I RUN THE SHOW HERE.............. NOT A GOOD JUDGE IN MY VIEW... TELLING LAWYERS HE WAS GOING TO SEND THEM TO THERE ROOM... SILLY MAN......

Judge Whitney's character is questionable, given that he frequently engages in ex parte communications with opposing local counsel. He takes an inordinate amount of time in ruling on motions; frequently fails to make the right decisions by taking the easy way out; rarely has reviewed motions in preparation for hearings and therefore is unable to make proper or immediate rulings. He is pompous and inappropriately displays a plaque pertaining to his apparent jealousy towards Franklin County judiciary. These opinions are based on numerous encounters before Judge Whitney.
