Civil Litigation - Private

Very willing to let the lawyers try their case and was always prepared in motion hearings. A good experience.

This guy works hard and stays on top of his court cases. He's friendly and respectful, but he means business when he takes the bench. His dockets run very smoothly and he allows the lawyers to make announcements on uncontested issues without having to spend all day in court just to make a simple announcement. His dockets and his calendar go pretty quick and it's easy to get a court date.

The bar was very worried when this former prosecutor took the bench, but he has proved himself to be a very smart, thoughtful judge who does not play favorites. He is always prepared and has probably done more research on the case than the lawyers.

Excellent judge. He is friendly, punctual, smart, studious, and most importantly, he will follow the law. In my experience, Judge Fry shows no bias.
