Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: OK657
Rating:1.5
Comments:
Robertson is an AWFUL judge. She is NOT evenhanded. She is VERY biased in favor of litigants who are businesses and is generally more favorable toward defendants.

Robertson treats attorneys from big firms like they are her best friends -- because their law firms contribute to her campaign funds. She treats solo practitioners like they crawled out from under a rock. I know because I left a big firm and became a solo practitioner. Her demeanor towards me changed like night and day.

She inappropriately wastes time by discussing college sports in the courtroom. If you aren't an OU fan --- never admit it to her or you will suffer for it.

She plays favorites with big firms by granting their motions ex parte without allowing any response by opposing counsel -- which is not only unethical, it violates court rules. She does not do this for small firms or solo practitioners.

Can't wait for the day she leaves the bench!

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: OK341
Rating:7.4
Comments:
Decent judge who is likely overworked. She generally admits to not having read briefs if she has in fact not read them. However, there have been occassions when it seemed she was ruling on the fly. She is one of the better judges in Oklahoma County. Unlike some of her colleagues, she is very even-handed.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: OK218
Rating:3.6
Comments:
I do not believe that she reads long briefs or most briefs for that matter. I have never had her give reasoning for any rulings on discovery and other motion practice. She very rarely if ever takes oral argument with most motions. Her demeanor in the courtroom is disrespectful to the attorneys - as though none of the cases have any social meaning or consequence.

Bright and tough. This judge is not afraid to be decisive and make rulings.

She is a great judge. She will stand up to the big firms. She may favor female attorneys ever so slightly.
