He is by far the most compassionate, understanding, respectful, but stern judge I have ever encountered. He upholds the law to the highest standards.

I was very impressed with Judge Van Dyck. He grasped the complex issues in the case, was fair throughout the proceeding, and correctly applied the law to the facts. He also exhibited an appropriate courtroom demeanor and treated the parties and counsel with respect.

Not only is this Judge unfair, he has not regard for justice. What he cares about flexing his power and giving a high prison sentence. During a sentencing trial, he was inattentive to the defendant's attorney and just kept scratching his head, sipping his coffee, clearly bored to be in the courtroom. He had made up his mind long before any evidence had be presented and ruin his power to ruin more lives instead of help bring justice. It's a shame that someone like this can be a judge.
