Terrible judge. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I tried to get a protective order after being physically assaulted. Regardless of whether she granted it or not the way she presented herself was down right appaling. Constantly shuffling papers, making remarks to a lawyer in the box, who wasn't part of my case. I was telling her why I needed the PO and she looked as though she was not paying one bit of attention but the worst part was her literally rolling her eyes over and over again as I told my story. It made me feel like I wasn't as important a victim because I'm a man. I'm not mad about her judgment but I am mad that someone called honorable would treat a victim of assult with such distain. I mean wow.

My email was included - i would be happy to talk with the Judge or District Attorney about my experience. I have been in her court for over 2 years going through a divorce. My husband made me sign a Anti-Nuptial agreement 4 days before the wedding. It was unconscionable but I signed under duress,coercion and deceit. This was proven during the court proceedings. The Judge ruled in favor of my EX. She is lazy and does not examine the facts thoroughly and makes unfair judgements. I am 73 years old and was married to him for 23 years. During this time I suffered Narcissistic abuse from him. I am not able to go back to work and start a new career. So I am left in financial hardship I would love to appeal this judgement but can't even afford to do that because of this ruling. My Opinion: - Money talked !!!

Had a VPO on my ex and pending DV in front of a child. We go to court have pictures the cops took and everything. Due to the fact that the cops said I had to let him back in the house because my name was not on the house note and it was only in his name he got away with it. They did not care that he had a VPO already in a different county in less than 6 month of us being apart or that he had a ticket in a different state for DV. She gave him guns back and everything, even after my child got up there in front of this man and judge and told them all how bad he was hitting on me. She let him go. She needs to think about it how would she feel if it was her child that it all happen to?

has some kind of personal connection with Attorney James Hodgens.. enjoys his persistent unorthodox behavior in court. She appears to like him.. more than just in court. Inappropriate behavior.. on the bench.. not honest.. offensive towards litigants.. especially pro se.

Judge Kirk gave full custody to a man under police investigation for raping two 8yr old girls. Also, she dismissed the protective orders without hearing testimony.

This judge has no business with children in her courtroom.

Sorry -- I'm using a phone to address the courtroom incompetence shown in Lincoln County Court by Judge Sheila Kirk. Judge Kirk requested a guardian for a child custody hearing. The guardian explained, in the course of his four-month investigation, that the child's father should have full custody of the child due to the mother's prior drug and alcohol use and the violence committed by the mother in the past. Judge Kirk gave sole custody to the mother, and ignored all the testimony of the guardian of the child.

God help us if thing this women can give out justice to anyone she is afraid of lawyers in her court room and is a joke with it comes to being fair. I think she is the biggest joke in our court system. I sit in her court as a student for several days. And could not believe the injustice to the male individuals who went through her court. My personal thought is all who thinks she is unfair please fine a appeal .

Seems to be wide eyed and scared to make a decision. Defers to others hoping she won't have to make a tough choice. She let's the attorneys rule the courtroom and is intimidated by powerful lawyers.

an order was validated in ar yet this judge prosided over a case, issuing an ex parte order then had a second hearing returning the child back to the mother, then ordering ordering overnight visitation back in ok. the judge on the third hearing ruled that ok had no standing, as the father then ran out with the kids. what the hell is going on in oklahoma

Judge Kirk came into office after an unfortunate death of a child that occurred on the watch of the prior judge. In essence, the voters were voting out the other judge rather than taking a serious look at her as being ready and qualified. She does possess a good temperament. She does need mentoring more than any judge I've appeared before. She seems very, very green and this comes through in her odd rulings on evidence as well as certain questionable decisions.
