After a jury found a defendant guilty on a felony charge, this judge gave him probation. Not a person I want to see on the bench!!

Comment #: OR248
Under the watchful eye of this judge my first experience with the justice system has been an eye opener. There seems to be no meaning in the words "whole truth and nothing but the truth." Or, for that matter "innocent until proven guilty" for what I saw for 2 1/2 years before the trial and 110 days after, the time taken to make a decision, was quite the opposite. The judge had before her experts, professionals, teacher, police, DHS workers, all for the character and truthfulness of petitioner. You had a petitioner that took all the tests asked of him, some more then once and passed all of them, did all that was required, and still he was consider guilty, with no proving innocence. This judge represents a lack of judgement & Justice, integrity, willingness to be fair and just, hear both sides & make a judgement in a fair and timely manner. I am more then worried for those involved due to this judgement.

Civil Litigation - Private

Obviously biased from day one. Made her bias clear to everyone in the room. Disrespectful to expert witnesses. Even "coached" the favored lawyer, almost swooned at the favored party, sneered at disfavored party. No effort to appear neutral or to make both sides feel heard. This judge contributes to the sense that our justice system is not just. Hope she figures this out.

Criminal Defense Lawyer

pro defense all the way; has a hard time grasping application of law to cases before her.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: OR205
The worst judge I've ever appeared before. Makes up her mind in the first 2 minutes...thinks she's smarter than she is...grimaces and "tells" her feelings about case obviously during trial...ignorant of civil law...arrogant and short with counsel
