Experienced and thorough. This is a balanced judge who does not like games from lawyers with attitude.

Comments:
Incredibly biased and even malicious at times. Destroyed my relationship with my children and gave my ex EVRYTHING her lawyer asked for and then some. He should have recused himself for having worked for the same firm as her lawyer, because his judgement was extremely prejudiced. Also, he issued and approved a restraining order that a police officer voluntarily came to me and said I should challenge it because she hadn't claimed anything she could legally get one for. However, this judge treated me like a criminal during the entire 8 month ordeal.

He is the presiding judge in both Coos and Curry Counties. He is a decent lawyer and a decent judge, with one huge exception: he won't be flexible in scheduling for any reason. He is perfectly content to see a meritorious case dismissed rather than postpone a trial for a day due to a sick party. That is just outrageous.

This judge has been one of the relatively unknown gems of the trial bench. He is the best state trial judge outside of Portland.
