I have had this judge twice on a child custody case for the same child and because I cannot afford a lawyer and the opposing side can he has not listened to what I have had to show or say in court or in writing I feel this judge needs to look at both sides of the story weather there is an attorney involved or not. I also requested an emergency custody order and he denied it and he said " you have no right to remove the child" when three days before the sheriff office confirmed i had the right and custodial rights as well

this judge is retiring soon. i have had many years before him. if you represent the state county state,school,hospital etc youwill win. never gives findings or conclusions and always rules from bench regardless of complexity. occassionally remarks he doesnt care if you intend to appeal. fabulous judge if you win. good luck.

Excellent civil judge. He almost always rules from the bench. Seems to shoot from the hip which is great if your client has won, and humane for your civil client if they have lost. He almost never makes written rulings in civil cases.

I tried a case in front of Judge Littlehales for over a week and he was evenhanded, industrious and fair. He kept out evidence that was very prejudicial to the other side. I was not happy about the decision at the time, but in retrospect I realize that he made the right call. He makes clearly reasoned and swift decisions, and the parties know exactly where they stand on the rulings.
