Rumor has it that he didn't retire in the traditional sense, rather he got retired. While on vacation. How often do you hear of something like that happening?

Given how firmly he was dealt with, surely his cases will be reviewed.

He retired! WOO HOO, but what a good many lives he has negatively impacted for generations to come....Where are the overseers of these judge's court room demeanor/etiquette, their judgments, their application of the law, or in his case misapplication of the law, as well as lack of common sense?

Another horror story from Judge Carp's rulings. He made his ruling without being informed. He actually stated that he did not want to hear any evidence other than felony drug charges which the mother had and the father didn't. The evidence of which he did not hear showed a long history of neglect and abuse of this mother's children by her, and her mental instability/illnesses. The result was a return of my grandson to his mother. This has caused my grandson great emotional turmoil to the point of becoming so overwhelmed that he began hitting his head on the floor and other objects, as well as having to be restrained by the grandfather to keep him from hurting himself. Then there was a letter to the court regarding DV in front of my grandson, to which the judge filed in the record without informing the other involved parties or addressing the issues in this case. Any other horror stories please email me. This judge needs to step down.

i went before him in an illegal eviction case and he was turned around the whole time, did not listen to the facts of the case, voiced him opinions on how the government lies to everyone and that he does not believe in the military. landlords lied on the stand and he believed them without looking at the facts also ruled for me to vacate the property while i was still in court

I have never seen such bad behavior from someone who is supposed to make good judgement calls. He commented that it should be expected that men will have a few beers while fishing but allowed a restraining order to stay on my daughter, not to protect her husband, but to monitor her drinking. This judge obviously doesn't understand the law and uses his authority to hurt the innocent and protect the good old boys. His ruling has hurt so many people, including children. He shouldn't be allowed to remain as a judge.

A disaster. Like having a petulant child on the bench. No redeeming qualities.

One of the worst judges I have ever known. He pretends to know the law, yet will do whatever he wants. Issues FAPA orders when there's alleged abuse outside the 180-day time period. Partial to female clients. Very rude to trial attorneys and pro se litigants. Cuts people off. Patronizing and condescending. If he likes you or your client, you will win. If he does not like you or your client you will lose. I do not trust him to ever do the right thing. I have not trusted him for almost four years now. I keep hearing new horror stories about his rulings and attitude. I have yet to hear any experienced trial attorney say anything good about him. One of the best arguments in the world against an independent judiciary.
