Comments:
Honorable Justice Brian Van Couyghen was a confusing judge. During Hearing case NC-2019-0231 he says to defense counsel to prepare a summary judgment, he turns to me the Plaintiff and says I want to see your response by 15th Dec 2019 and hearing will be on 6th Jan 2020. After filing a comprehensive response along with affidavits to the summary judgment, during Hearing on the 6th Jan 2020, Honorable Judge Couyghen says that I(plaintiff) have filed at least four other cases and therefore he is warning me and in fact he will place restriction on me. I was representing the business as DBA, he very well knew that when he asked me to write a response. Why did he ask me to write a response, and then later accuse me representing a LLC.

What difference does it make if I had filed other cases, we were there on the 6th Jan for this one case. In addition to that, Judge Couygen proceeded to say “ In this country although freedom to file lawsuit..” indirectly stating that I am not part of this country. I pledge allegiance to this country every day, I teach and educate kids of this nation everyday and I pay my taxes ..however clearly I am less a American ..,interesting statement coming from one of the state’s intellectuals.

Being President’s Day tomorrow, I want to leave with this statement, I walked into Superior Court of Newport with a lot of respect and hope to seek justice, however I walked out thinking the only difference between a third world country and developed nation is their robust and transparent legal system run free of nepotism and cronyism. I really didn’t see any difference at RI court systems, clearly explains why businessman and investors flock to RI to invest. I built my little business and kept it together with bandage and shoe- strings, what do these ivy league graduates turned judges who probably lived sheltered lives would know about hardship of anything...lastly, my conclusion is Man cannot judge man, only God can judge man. With that, I rest my case.
