Comments:
Judge Gomez is as biased and [Redacted by Ed.] as they come. [Redacted by Ed.] his own recusal hearing in a wrongful death case and then permitted defense lawyers to commit fraud throughout the entire case with no consequences. He has no conscience whatsoever.

Comments:
Judge Michael Paul Gomez of the 129th Judicial District, Harris County, is the WORST JUDGE in all the state of Texas. As one reviewer stated, he is misogynistic/extremely disrespectful to women. He doesn't know the law. If he is re-elected in 2024 it will be a huge disservice to the public, and a degradation of the Judicial system.

Rating:2.1
Comments:
Judge Gomez made so many absurd rulings that he had to reverse himself over and over upon threat of appeal. He could not get the law straight and did not sanction a certain lawyer that brought the same bogus motion 5 times. He allowed the harassment, although he properly denied the motion each time. But it cost the clients unnecessarily and the motion was beyond frivolous - the other side asked for information that would have been a blatant violation of the client's statutory privacy rights. Our briefs were appellate quality, and Judge Gomez clearly had not read a single thing when he finally meandered into court. He needs to go.

Comments:
Gomez displayed a misogynist mindset in court and was openly hostile toward a female who had done nothing wrong. He has terrible credentials and was apparently elected based on name recognition or the D after his name. He had scant experience, about 4 years out of law school, and once he obtained a judge position, he immediately sought a court of appeal position - a total joke. He has barely gotten re-elected and has received very poor local reviews.

Comments:
One of the smartest judges --- if not the smartest judge --- on the bench. Bring your "A" game, because the judge is going to bring his.

Comments:
Very biased in favor of plaintiffs. He seems to have an agenda and it is not to be fair. Has failed to earn the respect of both sides.
