Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: TX205
Rating:1.0
Comments:
Judge Parks is one of a long line of bad judges I have been before. He pre-judges a case and is known for being pro-defense in civil cases and pro-state in criminal cases. in other words, he's agin' the little guy.

Before I appeared before him, many attorneys told me that he was not a good judge and that he was hard on lawyers.
Private practice-criminal.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: TX32
Rating:8.3
Comments:
Judge Parks is a diamond in the rough. He expertly handled a relatively complicated civil lawsuit that settled after trial began. His temperment is perfect for the bench. He is smart, dedicated, and hard-working. He did not display any perceptible bias toward plaintiff or defendant. He got every major ruling -- whether it was for us or against us -- correct. The relatively low rating on his flexibility in scheduling is not an indictment of the judge; he sits on the bench in three counties and consequently has little flexibility. Judge Parks is without a doubt one of the best judges I've had the pleasure to appear before.
