Comments:
This judge is not concerned about what is best for the child. She often makes legal errors and instead of correcting them, she will rule to dismiss a case simply to cover her own behind. She’s been known to work half-days and makes rulings at a reckless pace. She has more appeals than any judge in the history of her district. Anyone else would be better than Judge Martin. The kids deserve better.

This judge does not care about evidence or the best interest of children. She will send kids home that are thriving in a foster home to random family that has never met child. She doesn't follow rule of law. She prefers willing and appropriate over loved and cherished

During our two year foster care case, we witnessed gross administrative mismanagement, the promotion of her personal agenda over judicial responsibility, many avoidable delays (which undoubtedly resulted in unnecessary costs), and the appearance of impropriety. She has caused us to lose much confidence in the judicial system. In the end, Judge Martin messed up the entire case by failing to perform a required procedure at one of the hearings. She then sent 5 kids home against CPS wishes to cover her own tracks. At the final hearing, she was extremely disrespectful to opposing counsel, did not allow opposing counsel to speak, and she made inflammatory statements and threats from the bench. Because of her poor temperament, unprofessionalism, and overrall lack of concern for the children that go through her court, I firmly believe she is unfit for the judicial bench.
