This woman has effectively removed my grandchildren from most of their blood relatives. No evidence, no witnesses…and an “in chambers” meeting with a minor child via Zoom while child was at home with an abusive alienating parent. She has no care for what she’s done to this family. Her decision was made before she even walked into court. She is reckless and self serving and should never serve at the bench.

My daughter attempted suicide because of her father and was sent to a behavioral hospital by CPS. The Psychiatrist reported abuse by the dad.Judge Miskel terminated my parental rights , put me on supervision, had her court Psych diagnose me mental illnesses that I never suffered from and then gave me maximum child support for 3 kids without any rights to see my kids. Judge Miskel also said I suffered from a brain tumor. She is on every committee and has immense power which she abuses

She has a great insight. She reads everything. She analyzes everything. I can understand why defeated litigants would hate her. I hope she runs for higher office

Aaron Robb LPC is part of Miskels inner circle, I am unsure if they know eachother but as a court appointed Psychologist he is extremely corrupt and routinely diagnoses people with bogus diseases unless they pay him more. I dont know if Miskel has appointed people to help her setup women or just that the system is unchecked and there is rampant corruption at all levels. Miskel was informed of Robbs incompetence but she didnt seem to make an effort to have him removed.

I have worked with Miskel and have seen her gender bias, she has unresolved childhood issues. Its important to organize a protest against any judge who abuses their power to that extent. How is it possible that every woman has her children removed from her. This is a crazy person.

This is the worst judge ever appointed by Greg Abbot. She does not follow the law and makes it up as she goes. She will end up being disbarred if she continues her course.

During the last 4 years I have had the displeasure of dealing with judge Miskel as my family custody judge. From the very beginning she favored my ex husband despite the fact that he was a 2 time felon for DWIs, and I had no criminal history what so ever. She gave dad sole conservator and placed me on supervised visitation with no other rights to our 2 children. Within a year of our divorce dad got a 5th DWI and is currently serving a 9 month sentence (SAFP) with 10 years probation. I filed to take possession of our children (which I did legally) while he was in jail, but instead of awarding their mother (me) custody, they gave his mother his rights without reason, and made me give possession to her. This 44 year old man has lived with his mother since he was 22, or entire 11 year marriage we lived with her because he was already a felon and we couldn't get a place of our own. Now she has pushed our final hearing out until September 2022 so that dad can appear without cuffs on. Which I assume she has already planned on giving him his sole custody back once he's out of jail. It's so sad that even though I am more than fit and able to take custody of our children, this judge has made it clear without words that she will favor dad. Someone please help us moms that are dealing with this bias judge! We deserve better!

A magistrate who believes she can ignore the law and the rights of American Citizens in her Court is one who does not contribute to the betterment of society. In this Court, ruled by bias and personal opinion, as opposed to law and equitable reasoning, abused parties (attorneys and clients) are suppressed into adherence. For fear of suffering retaliatory interactions with this Judge in future cases, attorneys succumb to her authority, even if it compromises their ethics. Judge Emily Miskel is a prime example of a public servant who abuses a position of power and authority, which was designed to protect the rights of all who enter a Court of law. Instead she uses her position as Judge [redacted]. It would be more than inequitable for this abuse of power, which violates the rights of citizens, to go without penalty. To protect our own rights and the rights of our fellow citizens from such treatment, we must assemble, unite and demand reconstruction. Everyone in Collin County knows, including attorneys who are forced to accept the process, that District Court Judges such as Judge Emily MIskel act under the "good old boy" system making it understood that the attorney with the higher political reign wins every time such as found in Collin County records. It is a political hierarchy and Judge Emily Miskel along with others act not in the best interest of the child and its family but instead based on what decision will [redacted].

I would rate her performance as a "honorary" judge as well as an advocate for "protecting" the children of Collin County, disturbing, incredibly sad vindictive and total injustice to so many parents that have entered her Courtroom trying to do the right thing for their children..Even the attorney defending our side admitted we could not say certain things that would have helped our case for my Grandchild because Emily Miskel's views and thoughts were complicated. I never thought our justice system operated on a Judge's opinion and not by the guidelines of the Court of Law..Yes, the dad, who never paid child support and had very little to do with him got custody, and now that child's life suffers from not being with the huge family who were there for him and gave him great childhood memories. Governor Greg Abbott..You put her in that court..Please do something!!!!

This woman is a menace to the concept of justice. Her ruling was destructive, illogical,and unrealistic. Evidence was ignored and grievances brushed aside as irrelevant. She left the young woman in an impossible financial place with more expenses per month than income while awarding the father (who makes 50% more) to receive child support. She made the wedge between these two parents worse. This is disturbing the peace of the child.

I am shocked at her decisions. She ignored facts and evidence, and took unsubstantiated allegations seriously. She ruled in a family court case like it was a criminal case when the defendant had no criminal record. Her decision placed a single Mother in a financial situation that was impossible to live under. I was appalled at the way she treats women. I have never seen a judge so openly vilify women that are subject to her decisions. She doesn't even try to hide it. You can read comments from people in many places that are basically a broken record of women being targets, and unfit Fathers being granted all their wishes. If this woman gets re-elected, I'll be shocked. She clearly has no integrity, and seems to have some kind of vendetta against women.

Emily Miskel makes a habit out of disregarding important details of a case, and making up her mind long before she even hears the arguments. Her rulings have been egregious at best, and many children and single parents have been put in precarious living conditions solely based on her poor judgement. Her lack of objectivity is disturbing, and her ability to rule fairly is largely in question. Despite her impressive background, she continues to make rulings that reflect zero understanding in how to apply laws. Bless the poor souls that have been victimized in her court room. Do this county a favor and remove her.

Judge Emily Miskel is unscrupulous. She took my son from me based solely on unfounded or documented accusations after being angry I filed for divorce. He had had 2 cps cases opened on him in 4 years. I have been a mom 12 years and had none. As of today, has has had 4. One for molesting my daughter. He had a his of being financially unstable, irresponsible, emotionally abusive, a criminal record including where he pled guilty to domestic violence. I'm in the process of putting together a a formal complaint.

Emily Miskel rules with her own agenda in mind to further her political career. There is nothing “just and fair “ regarding her court rulings. For Judge Miskel, she sides with who has the most money and influence to further her career, not in the best interest of anyone involved in the case. She will block evidence that supports your case in order to rule in the best interest of her own career. Pray to God she doesn’t make it to Texas Supreme Court, which is rumored to be her next conquest.

Extremely unethical. Makes rulings based SOLELY on “allegations” while doing NO investigation. Has no issue separating siblings, especially ones that have been living together 100% of the time since birth. Biased with gender roles (I’m assuming this stems from Miskel working and husband is stay-at-home father). I will not be quiet, and I will never stop fighting for my child that was taken away - and moving him 1000 miles across the US. She does not rule in “best interest” of the child, she honestly seems to do the exact opposite of what is “right”. My life was forever shattered by Judge Miskel, and an extremely unethical ruling was ordered. You are in my prayers Emily Miskel. I pray you find forgiveness one day for all of the lives you have ruined, and the wrongs that have been done.

She's a woman with an agenda who doesn't think twice about separating siblings. Her definition of 'best interest of the child' doesn't exist in the Texas Family Code. She will never find peace as long as the heartbroken cries of our children fill the air.

Completely unethical and unprofessional. Very biased and partial. She is a hypocrite and very discriminatory. No patience and breaks every ethical standard of the Court room and her code to protect civilians and our rights. Instead protects her own political interests. Does what Benjamin Smith wants her to do. He trained her to be a crook just like him. Both of them are disgusting and a joke.
