I have seen so many parents my self go in this courtroom where the parental rights are terminated. People being pressured to give up their parental rights by court-appointed attorneys and AD litems that the judge herself appointed. This judge does not have a good record for my seeing personally of reuniting children back with what called family reunification. I've seen this judge appear to be very one-sided. She does not seem like she really cares about the parents just what CPS or the ad litem say. She has allowed one child that I know of to be placed with non-relatives over family members willing to take the child and try to pursue the adoption process. I have a family member who has personally been pressured to give up their parental rights in her Court. It doesn't seem to be a lot of Justice in this courtroom 4 victims or family. I believe that this judge should be replaced with someone who will follow case law and look at every circumstance and not just from the view of a ad litem or a CPS worker.

She cares about no one but herself and her money. She makes her own rules. She doesn't seem to understand case laws. She constantly turns a blind eye to cases. She chooses attorneys on cases that are her personal friends. She returns children to their abusers. Maybe, just maybe she, herself, should be abused once.

This is the worst judge I have ever dealt with. SHE Lied about knowing my witness. She denied me to talk. She is biased and rolls her eyes in court. She laughs in the court room with attorney's and ad litems. She won't let people talk when trying to share the truth. She has ignored parties when she wants too. She has a very cold demeanor about herself. She won't even recuse herself when she should. She does not care that someone was pressured to give up their parental rights with post relinquishment visits that never happen. She knows she is not following case law and she is doing things all wrong in that court room. She allows her bailiffs wife who is an attorney to be in her court room on cases. That's conflict. She has literally ripped families apart for that paycheck. It's time to get her off the bench. I could go on and on what I've seen her do but it will take a year to write that or longer. Collin county needs to replace her!! How can she sleep at night knowing she destroys families with being biased, unfair and not following the law. The lawyer and the as litem are her friends. How can anyone get justice in her court. She has forgotten over the years how she got her job. She was a good judge at 1 time but now she done lost her mind.She believes everything in paper is true from cps and whoever. She really needs to be replaced and her cases looked into. Someone needs to expose her!

In 2015 I was coerced into signing my parental rights away to my son on the basis of a mediated agreement-signed by Judge Wheless herself, that promised monthly visits with my son until he turned 18. After the adoption was finalized-also signed by Wheless, I found out that the mediated agreement, that I relinquished my parental rights for, was left out of the adoption decree. It stated in the MSA that the mediated agreement was to be “adopted in its entirety” into the adoption decree. All parties including Wheless knowingly violated the prior agreement, and went forward with the adoption anyways, leaving me with no recourse and subsequently I have not seen my son in 3 years due to no fault of mine. Judge Wheless is not above the law.

Judge Wheless, I am a PROUD WHITE FEMALE REPUBLICAN who was very happy to vote for you in the last election. Of course you were unopposed however if someone runs against you whether they be Republican or Democrat, they will have my vote! I am appalled of what I have read in the court transcripts of the Sposito case for her grandchildren! Now I have read other complaints about you not protecting children on this site and see this is clearly a pattern for you!!!Judge I hold a PhD in the medical field and know all to well what happens to the future of children who have been abused. I am ashamed that I voted for you and saddened by the clear abuse of discretion that is evident in this case. I have begun to spread the word in my community to vote for the opposition or withhold their vote for you and will continue to do so!!!!!

I am the uncle of two young children who are currently in the middle of a hearing for their safety and well-being. After watching numerous court hearings and how Judge Cynthia Wheless makes her rulings, it is very clear that she does not have the best interest in the children and the professional opinions of their counselors and therapists. Her rulings also take an extremely long time, which also prolongs the outcome of what is best for my niece and nephew. It is extremely disheartening to see and is frustrating that a judge would only listen to the opinion of one party and not take into account the professional expertise of what these children have listed. When one of the opposing attorneys is a friend of the judge, it is my understanding that this falls under conflict of interest and this judge should not be hearing this case. I am an educated business professional who makes my own judgement, can see and hear just fine, and from what I have been seeing and hearing thus far, this has not been a fair and just court case. My niece and nephew deserve to be safe as they only have one chance at a childhood, and I don't want the unfair rulings of Judge Cynthia Wheless to ruin that.

When I stumbled upon the Robing Room, I was sad to see that Cynthia Wheless put other children in harms way as well. Cynthia should not be a judge and I now realize that she plays politics over the protection of children. She is supposed to be an advocate for children however she is and advocate for her friends who may be attorney's on the case or the other litigant. She put my grandchildren back in a sexually and physically abusive home even though they made outcry's and she also went against the advice of their counselor and psychologist! What type of person who calls him or herself judge, puts children back with their abuser? The abuser who is their biological father, has a history of violence including a rape charge! Their father also beat their mother who made 4 police reports of the abuse. All these things are public record for everyone to see. Cynthia stated she was aware of the prior allegations, yet she chose to side with her friend one of the opposing counsel, instead of the children who relied on her to keep them safe. The 57 year old Wheless is up for reelection in 2022 and I pray she does not get reelected because she should not be allowed to wear that robe!!!! She also insulted my family by saying they couldn't think for themselves. She is basically calling them stupid because she said I have power over my family and tell them what to say. What a disgrace this woman is for allowing my grandchildren to put back in that situation. CPS placed them with us then another judge who had the case before it was taken out of his court due to his retirement, refused to allow my grandchildren to be put back into the home. The mother of the children actually altered that other judges protective order and he found out about it. That shows what type of mother she is because she chose to protect her abusive husband and not her children. Again, politics over the protection of children. Who needs a judge like this in Collin County or any where for that matter? NO ONE. Please vote for anyone but Cynthia. She is an evil woman who is more concerned about keeping and making friends than protecting the most vulnerable in our community, CHILDREN!!!!!! GOD IS WATHCING AND LISTENING.

This "judge" should be ashamed of herself for ruling in favor of proven abusers when handling the Sophie Long case, her moral compass or lack of was shown when she returned Sophie to her abusive mother and her molester of a boyfriend and ordered the evidence be removed from the internet. You should be ashamed of yourself, you are the reason that victims dont speak up. The only proper move is resignation and an investigation into Judge Wheless. If we let trash like this be the judges in our "justice system" guess we don't have much of a system.

It is unlawful to mix personal feelings and relationships with a case especially like this. The fact that this absolute devil of a judge refuses to look at evidence because she is friends with the mother absolutely disgusts me. The poor girl is being abused and sexually assaulted by both the boyfriend. The mother is just at fault because she knows about maybe even watches it and doesn’t do anything about it. The mother is deluding anyone not in the family and the people who know about it can’t do anything about it or would have to consider fines or even jail/prison time. This judge doesn’t deserve her position because her decision is severely damaging a poor girls life.

Judge does NOTHING to understand a case she practically picks who she would prefer before and rule in favor of them in the end. With this recent case of this little girl being molested she CHOSE to listen to mother and her attorney before even giving any attention to the fathers side. When a NINE year old child is helplessly crying for attention to be brought to the matter of her being MOLESTED in her own mothers house while her mother watches you investigate and get every little detail you can. You do not sit there and laugh and chuckle and say “oh yes I haven’t looked much into the case or oh yeah regardless of what’s happening in the web or dark web” as a judge YOU TAKE EVERYTHING INTO CONSIDERATION. The mother is a POS watching her daughter be molested. And I hope this keeps you up at night knowing that you made the decision to keep her in the hands of her own abuser

Judge Cynthia Wheless should be fired immediately for her culpable actions of silencing factual evidence of child abuse and returning the child to her abusers to allow said said abusers to continue her sexual abuse.

Particularly in the Case of Sophie Long. Returning her to the mother and abuser was absolutely the worst mistake. You have a 9 year old screaming out for help and you say, her voice is not valid. If there is ANY doubt a child is being abused, you take them out of that environment as soon as possible to rule everything out before returning them to the home. This would be common sense, but evidently it’s not as common as it should be.

Completely biased judge.

These people will give full custody to a mother even if she’s a known bi-polar who drinks on her medication and is known to have emotional fits of rage before they would give the child to a full-time working, supportive father.

I know this from experience, and it messed up a lot of my life to have to live with someone who literally drove me to school one day to only throw all my shit out on the lawn afterwards. Kicking me out of her house at age 13.

My father had to drive nearly an hour to come get me and call the police to get the res of my things from her house. Because she was holding them for leverage.

And when the police finally got in, all she did was harass and yell at me while I was grabbing my things.

Women are not inherently better parents, especially when they’re unable to support themselves and are dependent on the abusers money. They will defend a sicko if it means they can keep living comfortably.

Please listen to Sophie. It is important that you hear her literal cry for help. You need to remove her from the immediate danger she is in. She is clearly letting everyone know that her mother is hurting her and observing the abuse. Shame on you as the Judge in this matter for not listening to the children. Please listen to Sophie. This judge just sent a little girl back to her abusers. Video of her begging and crying not to go back because of Mother's boyfriends sexual abuse of her and her brothers. The video is heartbreaking as this poor child goes into graphic detail of abuse waiting for her if she returns home and how her Mother watches. Now Father is not being allowed any access to his children. And of course she has also "ordered"to get video removed from internet Good luck with that. She is pathetic human, just as pathetic as the Mother's child molesting boyfriend, and the disgusting excuse of a Mother. All are failing these children

I sat and watched my friend’s side of her divorce case be completely ignored; every order broken by the petitioner with no consequences; never even reading the deposition and admitted evidence including careless and improper care of the children. On day one she told my friend she was a scorned women! Of course, he was a Dallas cowboy and she had nothing but stars in her eyes. How completely unfair were her rulings. My friend got almost nothing!

Hid case from me, had exparte hearings, allowed exculpatory evidence, denied jury trial, denied attorney and at end of 18 month case said "would take under advisement" and walked off bench then allowed plantiff to nonsuit with no service to defendant. There are 4 different versions of order and none are filed! There is so much more and i have proof of all!

So Collin County has has a reputation of being a little bit crony (that's called, being diplomatic), but I was pleasantly surprised to see Judge Wheless breaking that mold. She remembers the people who have come before her, and actually cares about them (rather than just clinically 'dispensing justice' or 'rendering her verdict').

At the same time, she has the most rigorous standards in family law; not much gets past her. So don't try any fraud or "truth-stretching" here, not gonna fly. Thank you Judge for surprising a cynic.
