Judge David Lopez is anything but honorable. This man clearly either had a horrible divorce or he hates his wife. In court is extremely lazy. If you are a dead beat dad, this judge has your back. Working moms you will feel even more exhausted than you already do after you visit his court room. He won't look at how much the dad owes you, he will however listen to the dads lies and giggle about them. Yes, this judge gets off on how horrible the husband treated you and then awards you not even enough money to feed your children. This judge lets his own personal issues destroys others lives.

This judge heard the testimony. He listened attentively, and still ruled to overturn a protective order citing he didn't believe that the accused abuser would commit family violence in the future. I guess several bruises, dozen of 911 calls, and a affirmative finding and criminal guilty plea should be enough to convince Judge Lopez he was wrong.

This judge successfully arranged for a mother to no longer have contact with her daughter who she has raised since birth. Her daughter has mental health issues and is living with her father. The judge ruled that the mother could see her daughter only if the daughter wished. Because the father is very controlling of his daughter he is intimidating her and she has elected to follow his wishes and not have contact with her mother. Had the judge been more sensitive to the situation he would have realized what was going on but instead has made life miserable for both the mother and daughter.
