I ha e never been insulted so much in my life. He clearly lashed out about his political beliefs and seemed to use his stand as a pulpit rather than to help us figure out the situation. He recited scripture, yelled, and demanded compliance by both parties, yet only.inforced them by one. He is not even killed, or calm. We were told that he hates divorce cases and he openly admitted it from his seat. If you have him as a Judge, have a difficult situation, then you had better find someone else. We had pretrial conferences with another Judge and were treated with respect, kindness, and patience. If you can get a different judge than Judge Kay for a divorce case, you should do it. He should not be handling these cases if he hates them so bad...he has no solutions, but demeans both parties.

Judge Kay rating should be a 0 he is not worthy or a honorable Judge to be rate any higher. He feels if a person is to be rehabilitated they need to be incarcerated. I think judge Kay should be order to go into the jails and prisons Undercover where he is not know and maybe he would Place judgment in a different way study their cases more thoroughly and consider different rehabilitations for the ones that can and are willing to be Rehabilitation instead incarcerated them and having them do the programs why they're incarcerated he allows his public defenders to strong-arm their clients into pleading a guilty plea knowing that it is wrong. In my opinion judge Kay should be barred from being a judge because he is no judge whatsoever. He needs to be barred from judging before he retires. He is not a fair judge and needs to be removed from his seat.

He does not consider evidence. His little courtroom has Julie George and Nathen Lyons handling every case. He accepts false statements from police, he abuses his power of authority.
He refuses to provide discovery in criminal cases
He violates every procedural rules there are

Stay far away if you can.

Comment #: UT297
Very short sighted. Gives zero consideration to historical facts. Does not remember his prior orders, does not review prior orders, gives conflicting rulings. Justice & resolution at bottom of priority list. Complaining about time wasted & clearing court room at top of priority list. Gets furious when proven wrong.

I not only named as a defendant on a credit card debt, I am a victin of ID theftfor this debt. I can not obtain a copy of the contract (which the plaintiff's attorney claims my signature is on). I have been ordered to pay this debt. He holds hearings without notifying me. Then because I do not show up for his illeagle hearings. He rules against me.
This man needs to be stopped and placed in jail.
On one of the two hearings I requested, wh
How can this mans corruption be stopped?ich was after he allowed my checking account to be garnished on the day I was paid, he sent me out of the courtroom to obtain a form from the clerks (which the clerks do not have, but they gave me a website for the form). He then gave away my entire paycheck.

Judge Kay is not a Judge and there is nothing honorable about him. If I had the money I would do everything in my power to remove him from the bench. For the first time in my life I watched a case open with the judge speaking out supporting the petitioner. HOW IS THIS GUY STILL THERE??

Civil Litigation - Private

In 42 years of practice I rate Judge Kay as the worst judge I have ever argued before. When he decides who he likes the case is over.

Comment #: UT239
Without a petition regarding the termination of parental rights, and with no finding of wrongdoing, Judge Kay threatened to terminate the parental rights of both parents without a hearing if there were "any more problems," or if another TRO was filed. (This after my ex filed a TRO.) It seems to me that a judge:

1) Should not make extreme, rights depriving orders without a legal cause or request;

2) Should not punish, or terminate the rights of any person based solely on the acts of another person; and

3) Should not make orders that deny due process and disqualify rules of civil procedure where such discretion is not afforded.

This is only one of this judge's many violations of judicial procedure. This is a public safety issue.
