I have my last court date this friday, i've never been in trouble with the law, but my kids have been in state custody for 2 years now. I believe judge bazzlle has been instrumental in hearing my case. The ada has slandered me horribly making me out to be a momster (no typo). I struggle with chronic illness, and my husband was abused in utah state foster care for 11 years before he was adopted by a great family. I was adopted at birth, and my situation got beyond controllable. My wonderful sweet kids who are my absolute WORLD, were in a very bad place. The unselfishness of the 2 WONDERFUL foster families that have loved my kids for the past 2 years and kept them smiling and loved when I couldn't, will be forever in their lives. I want to thank judge bazzelle for giving us even a slim chance to hear our side when one of my witnesses had a family tragedy. I will forever be grateful to this kind judge who granted us a continuance even if we lose. She has been fair and kind. Thank you.

To whom it may concern:

Judge Bazzelle was instrumental in righting a wrong that had been done to person very close to me. She saw what up to that point no one else would, given the difficulty and complexity of the picture, and that takes wisdom as well as expertise. Ten stars. If that makes me "wicked," as some have styled Bazzelle supporters here, so be it. But this black and white, good guys vs. bad guys fortunately doesn't always prevail even in this culture, and I have no doubt that Judge Suchada will lose little sleep over the self-important rants of a deeply disappointed minority.

If you did not sit in her courtroom with my Case then you have no clue what she did or didnt do. But I could have you talk with Dozens and I mean Dozens of people who did sit in on my Case. And as I said in another post, every single one of them walked out dumbfounded on how she was handling my Case. And I also said she was not alone in how it was handled. When all of who ever you are in these posts experience what I did you would do the same thing that im doing now.To make a long story short, She NEVER allowed my Case to be heard. And that is why I am now persuing my case further. I dont want what happened to me to happen to any other Law Abiding Citizen again. And yes I rate her a 1 because in my OPINION thats what she deserves

Agree with the detractors on her that our judiciary is often too powerful and unchecked, but in the case of Ms. Bazzelle she ruled wisely and with restraint contra many of the claims here on a recent matter and for that she has my support.

People, people: Everyone calm down and try not to get personal. The spirit of this forum is, like UT194 said, to give feedback as to the positives/negatives regarding individual judges. Tempting as it is to take shots at individual PEOPLE, such as have bothered us in the past, because of these tragic cases, should be avoided.

Judge Bazzelle performs her duties conscientiously, is intelligent, insightful, sometimes even funny. Frustrating as it is that some cases go on and on, Judge Bazzelle is undertaking her responsibility to listen to all the evidence and to hear both sides. Talk of corruption, power, etc., while it does apply in many cases of corruption here in the US, does not, I believe, apply in Judge Bazzelle's case. What reward could come from her decisions, except to remove innocent children from bad homes and put them in good ones? For these reasons, and not from personal malice, I support Hon. Suchada P. Bazzelle.

It seem you do play stupid games like that cause you keep coming back to rate one star. If people say WHY they like judge Bazzelle it is the same as "speak out has had a good experience." Have you ever thought not evey comment is about YOU? I know who comment 193 is and WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT and it does make sence if you know who it is and if you did you would like judge BAzzelle way better. I don't have a problem with you for not liking judge Bazzelle but you are coming here just to RUN her score down so its hipocrite to accuse OTHERS!

This is a forum to speak out if you have been wronged by a Judge, as well as, has had a good experience. But now I see this has turned into "lets get Judge Bazzelles score higher". Well I dont play stupid games like that! But I have plenty of other place where I can speak out about what she has done! I will never be quiet about it! And yes I have started plenty of things to make right what the Judge did wrong.

I'm grateful to the good judge for having cut out the legs of a dangerous person from under her/him. She/he'd had some credibility before facing Judge Bazzelle simply because she/he hadn't yet overextended to the point that an authoritative figure could call her out on her/his c.r.a.p. I am purposely being ambiguous with the she/he usage because she/he is probably crazy enough to peek in my windows or something. Judge Bazzelle was able to see through her/his garbage and penetrate right to the heart of a person who from vindictiveness was ruining the lives of innocent children simply to settle a grudge with what she/he considered a rival. I wholeheartedly concur with my friends who have said GOD BLESS THIS JUDGE. She is no less than heroic for having faced this stupid bimbo/mimbo down and for using her (the judge's) superior expertise and intellect to reveal and embarrass her/him as a jealous insecure and vindictive ***** for all time. Thank you judge, we need you now more than ever.

MY CASE WAS NEVER HEARD(NOT EQUAL TIME AS YOU PUT IT).To hear a case you have to be allowed to call witness, cross examine, be able to defend yourself when accusations are made against you, submit evidence ect. Judge Bazzelle never allowed that to happen. And as I said she was not alone in doing this. So I will continue to spend my time fighting for my Constitutional Rights. Have a wonder ful day.

She is not an "old boy" lol she is a lady!! ANd when you say bandwagon you are just dismissing REAL opinions from SINCERE people. I will continue to warn people of what goes on in that Courtroom. And Judge Bazzelle is not by herself on this issue. It is all of them (good ol boy) in that Courtroom that play a part. We weren't able to be in court and witness Ms. Bazzelle personally in action, but we followed a particular case closely as it involved matters close to our heart, and we were pleased with Ms. Bazzelle's systematic approach and agreed with her final--to us inevitable--conclusion. We listened to her summary and thought it fair if scathing. At least Ms. Bazzelle is articulate to say the least as well as articulate. Some judges pass down judgement without the benefit of a really detailed explanation of why and how they made their decision. Not so with Ms. Bazzelle. Our prayers are with everyone involved as their is plenty of pain to go around.

The truth is she does not allow cases to be heard. If yours was heard, good for you.But EVERYONE has that right. Not just who she picks and chooses. That is being BIAS. I as well as other people have the Constitutional Right to have our day in Court. She denies people that right! So again I say if she doesnt have all the info how can she make and educated decision? The day will come when enough people will speak out and I pray things will change. And Yes I said "sue a Judge". If she denied a child to be with their family when there was no evidence to Kidnap them. Then that child has every right to "sue" everyone involved in that kidnapping. As I said before THE TRUTH WILL PREVAIL! BTW that bandwagon is getting pretty full and at some point will collapse.

Um, why would you want to "sue a judge, for doing her contitutional job? That is stupid. Judge Bazzelle is not bias but she is a judge in our society and a very good one too! I think before people judge others they should take a look at their own hearts. It was a relief to finally have this be over and to hear Judge Bazzelles words about this that go on the OFFICAL record. Before people begin to talk about the TRUTH they should think that maybe the other side thinks their side is TRUE too and that is why you need a judge who will and who has the education to perceive. There is often truth on both sides and that is why you take it to court. THAT IS COMMON SENSE. THANK YOU JUDGE BAZZELLE YOU MADE THE DIFFERENCE IN OUR LIVES.

Pros for Judge Bazzelle:

A) She is no nonsense. As a grandmother and mother I appreciate this. Courtrooms are emotional places in which otherwise steady, mature adults can descend into a second adolescence. Such behavior is not tolerated by Judge Bazzelle.

B) She is experienced, is solidly pro adolescent and with very pro adolescent credentials. She is respected by her peers and looked to for leadership. She was chair of the Board of Juvenile Court Judges, where she distinguished herself.

C) She is smart and subtle. She is not taken in by sensational claims and looks at all the evidence in a cold, dispassionate light.

D) She has sterling credentials. Information about her education and career can be found online.

E) For all her objectivity and straitlaced professionalism, she cares passionately about the young ones about whom she must make such momentous and life-changing decisions.

We need more judges like Judge Bazzelle. In a world which is rapidly coming to resemble the dark stories of our childhood reading--where monsters and wicked stepmothers verily do exist--strong, moral leadership is a must if we are to survive.

Hello, I would like to second my husband. I am a mother and it was IMPOSSIBLE to live through this and not feel sorry for the poor family on the other side. It is just a tragedy and there is no other word for it when the law has to intervene in a contentious ugly squabble that is ruining children's emotional lives and their feelings of security. Hopefully they can move on now and find the peace in their new lives that he all want for ourselves. I truly pray that everyone involved in this can be better and stronger for it and that these sweet little children will adjust to their new life, and know that we all love them so much. It is very, very hard. I would not want to judge ANY such case but in this imperfect world it is a necessary evil unfortunately and Judge Bazzelle did her best and I think along with many (many more than posted here today.) made the best decision for the children.

I'd like to add my support for Ms. Bazzelle. She worked my family's case long and hard and came to what I felt was a just (if not easy) conclusion. She did not accept hearsay as evidence and had a strong grasp of child psychology as well as what may be one of the thorniest areas of modern law. As she read her decision you could have heard a pin drop. I would not want to go through a trial like that again but if I ever do I hope that the judge is as practical, sensible, knowledgeable and plainspoken as Ms. Bazzelle proved to be.

I find it odd with the last 7 posts that they all came in on the same day within minutes of each other. And they all defend Judge Bazzelle. Sounds to me like there was someone not liking the fact that people have a problem with Her. All the things said might be true IF she gave everyone the opportunity to defend themselves and be able to have their day in court. But all she does is hear the AG, GAL, and Caseworker. And makes her decision. It is completely onesided. If you havent heard all the facts how can you make and educated decision that changes a childs life forever. The day will come when these children will know the truth and will sue her and the rest of them for keeping them from their families. I hope there is someone out there that will start an investigation on what is going on in Her Courtroom. I for one will NEVER stop speaking out on what this women has done!

Judge Bazzelle is an even-tempered judicious judge who nevertheless comes to her job with passion and (in my opinion) the highest regard for the truth.

She adjudicates with restraint and with an open heart. I believe that any juvenile to come under her purview is in good hands.

There are always winners and losers in these cases and it must be very hard emotionally to be included in the latter. Nevertheless I believe Judge Bazzelle, though firm, to be honest and smart and I'm glad she's in a position to make a difference.

The reason I have decided to rate Judge Suchada P. Bazzelle so very highly is that I feel that, with her, the CHILDREN come first. There are many parents who are narcissists and who feel they are GREAT parents when in fact they are dangerous and reckless. Judge Suchada is able to distinguish these people out and is sure to choose the right parents and the right home for these precious souls to go home to. Quite a racket the court and state has going to legally kidnap children and provide a stream of "adoptees" to the foster parent system. I'm sure she is a good judge for other people's cases. But for one in particular she has been biased, and broken laws to twist the judicial system to fit her wants. She offers and states her opinions and feelings in court. Which are not pertinent to the evidence or facts included in the case. What her sister did when she was little has nothing to do with the case. What she thinks about how the other party felt has nothing to do with it. There were outrageous rulings made and it was unreasonable. She needs to be taken off the stand so she cannot do this anymore.
