Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: VA92
Rating:3.7
Comments:
Judge Sincavage was a prosecutor for too long in traffic court. He does not understand the rules of evidence nor the cases that he is reading. He misapplies the law even on the most basic of subjects. During a criminal trial, it often took him 10 minutes to resolve simple objections let alone motions. While he does better in the criminal setting--one knows partially what to expect--his civil cases are atrocious. There are not many lawyers in Loudoun who want to appear in front of him because it means wasted time and money.

Truly, Judge Sincavage means well, he tries hard, and he is a nice person. Regretfully, he has has no business being a circuit court judge.
