This Commissioner is utterly the worse, she split my relationship with my children through a divorce, it will never be the same. She does not follow her oath nor the Law. I have worked for Clark county; it's all a game/performance between attorneys and judges, it's not a justice system. Just a system for city revenue. A disgrace.I have few words for this woman, one that should step down to retirement. People have no idea her judgments cost lives every day.she deserves no respect.

For the attorney that’s trying to gain an advantage by leaving a good review for Carin Scheinberg “ Hon. Carin Scheinberg has shown diligent work and careful attention to the LAW”…carin Scheinberg does nothing of the sort. She makes up her own rules, consistently shows up for sessions unprepared and admits to it. I have personally attended dozens of court cases and I have my own video of the same. She is clearly having back door conversations with attorneys, such as yourself, coming to conclusions during those meetings and then consistently discounts or isn’t willing to listen to both sides of the argument. Read the other reviews, other than the Murrah related. All 35 or so point out exactly what I’ve written in my review and this is exactly what led to the Murrah problem. The same behavior Scheinberg exhibits time after time, case after case. She’s unethical and should be relieved of her duties.

I have twins boys and their mother is fighting to her death to take them away from me, manipulating them , force them to lie, do satanic acts AGAIST me everything since 2010 when they were born , everything AGAIST me as a revenge bc I never want her or accept her horrible behavior , stealing , lying ,whatever it took to make her feel she is in control. Incidents with Commissioner Schienberg making up her own rules, ignoring evidence [Redacted by Ed.] are not isolated unfortunately. In 2016, my oldest daughter was hit by her mother. Along with my daughter's testimony, we had a licensed therapist supporting this. There was a pending WA State CPS investigation in to the mother. However, Commissioner Schienberg, along with attorney Todd Pascoe, ignored the child abuse and instead granted a restraining order on myself, for unwarranted allegations, with no evidence and no prior history of myself or any wrong doing. So yeah, this is routine for her and CCC system.

Badly done. You should be protecting vulnerable women like Monica Murrah and her child. I can’t imagine how blind you must be to what is going on in marriages these days. You are a part of the problem allowing this kind of violence to continue. You should be taking a moral stand to protect women and children. To not believe someone who clearly needed help to get away from an abusive situation. You should quit. I cannot imagine how you think you know better than the victim in the situation what is happening. If someone wants out of marriage they should be allowed to get away from that person. There is a reason why they are getting the divorce. You are a part of this self-righteous society who thinks every women should stay married to keep the divorce stats down. Society puts too much value on the number of people wanting a divorce and tries to manage that number rather than getting to the root of the issue - that violence against women in our society is perfectly fine. The wife’s role is to tolerate abuse and violence or it is her fault if the marriage fails. I can’t even imagine what your Judgement Day is going to look like after hurting innocents in your day to day practice when you are supposed to protect them.

My ex showed up to the hearing for the restraining order I brought for my protection.

He was absolutley belligerent drunk, and she called him on it, told him she knew he was heavily intoxicated and threatended to have him arrested.

Then she allowed him to rage and ramble to a room full of DV victims after he admitted he was drunk and did nothing. That was in 2017, and he STILL has warrants for breaking the order over and over-he has still never gone to jail.

Get it together clark county our women are DYING!

Obviously you did not do your job or you would easily have evidence from the local police records showing there were multiple domestic violence calls to the same home she was later murdered in!! There is no apparent rhyme or reason to a lot of her rulings, but they seem instead to be decided by whichever litigant she finds favorable at the moment and whatever mood she is in. She is not rational by any stretch of the imagination and should be removed. She is directing the course of people's lives here, including children that she may be placing with the wrong parent. My attorney pointed out there was no evidence to my wife’s claims. He pointed out that her pension estimate was grossly underestimated and submitted evidence. My wife has over $800k in the bank and quit her job to show no income and the commissioner did not care. The commissioner ignored all the facts and came up with hypotheticals from that were absolutely unsubstantiated. Her attorney did not show up to court. She had her clerk go hunt her down talking about her like she was a family member, then took a 10 minute recess. It was obvious she does not like men. Would not even mention my last name... called me Mr. I felt sorry for my attorney. I submitted all my assets and my wife hid all hers saying she only had $11,000. Way to much power.
She needs to be held accountable for her prejudice. She needs to have respect for the law and the people she is suppose to serve not hate.

When she reviewed a case involving my abusive father, she claimed that he deserved every right to see me, even to be with him overnight. He didn’t appear dangerous at all to her. But my father, never showed up to any court hearings to begin with. So clearly, he doesn’t seem fit enough to be a responsible parent. And we had countless evidence against him, and she constantly disregarded it. A five year old should never be faced with having to see her own personal molester. This "commissioner" should be disbarred. Her rulings are inconsistent and she is not able to meet her commitments on making a ruling. She refuses to be objective to both men and women, as well as, with other attorneys. She will allow the attorney she likes to break protocols but doesn't give the same flexibility to others. She single-highhandedly has ruined my perception that court rooms are fair and just. She uses too much discretion depending on her mood. This "Judge" is horrible. She thinks a mother taking her kids from their Dad, who was withholding them from her is very traumatic for the kids. However, she doesn't think having a sheriff drag the kids out of the mother's home is not traumatic. Beware if you get this Commissioner. She is not fair, does not look over your evidence and rules in favor of Respondent. She makes decision based on the restraining order only and not documents that have been submitted as rebuttal. She ended up leaving the kids with their alcoholic father who does nothing for them. Good Luck if you get her.

I had several other pieces of documentation plus witness statements which she refused to listen to. She called both my parents liars in court and my dad is a retired naval officer and former DEA officer in CA. Horrid experience. She made inappropriate jokes and assumptions. She was very bias and unprofessional. I felt as if she did not take the time to read our case. She actually proved she did not read the case by stating we both were pointing fingers about drug allegations so I got stuck paying for a drug test I never asked him to take. When trying to explain anything or inform her on anything she completely shuts you down and doesn't let you speak. It was beyond frustrating and really makes you lose faith in our judicial system.

She refused to listen to my lawyer speak a full sentence. DSHS and the Sheriff's department found me not guilty of child abuse but Schienberg refuses to remove that as the reason for restricted time with my children. She forces me to take multiple evaluations then dismiss the reports if they do not favor her opinion of me. There is no Justice in her court.

My three grandchildren are in foster care because CPS AND this jerk of a COMMISSIONER tore them out of the only other home they knew. She is terrible. Her job should be taken away!My wife was falsely accused twice by my drug addicted son and an investigation was done we had all our witnesses and children that lived in the home at the interview. After the investigation the findings were that our home was safe for our grandchildren and my son even recanted his allegation and yet she still refuses to give us custody of our grand children. They are currently in Foster care. She will not let us have our grandchildren back. SHAME ON YOU!

Commissioner Schienberg was very hostile during the hearing. She had extreme 141animosity toward the father in this case and was dwelling on one concern and not ones that should have been of considered..
I suppose we all have off days but her bias shone through to a great extent in this case.

At first I was concerned that the commish was to overbearing untill I seen the BS she had to deal with from my Daughter and I soon realized she had a method to her madness although she stressed me out,she held my Daughter accountable for her actions and gave her the opportunity to be responsible and show she was capable of being stable so she can have her son back. There were simple requirements like hold a job and live In one place for six months,take a parenting class,all of which made my wife and I very happy. After a year my Daughter didn't comply with one thing the court asked. We got a male judge named Gonzales who without regard to our Grandsons best interest or the fact we had full custody signed by the Mother,judge Gonzalez required us to hand him over the same day,even though our Daughter didn't have a home and hadn't followed the courts requirement, which would of help our Daughter. My point is commissioner Schienberg did a good job holding my daughter accountable and steering her in the right direction which i think is the responsible thing for the court to do.

I have been dealing with my ex for over 2 1/2 years and have dealt with I think every Commissioner in the Clark County. Schienberg vacated a restraining order that 2 other commissioners reviewed and agreed it should stand in effect. She vacated the order that I was to get my children's and my belongings because she said I abandoned them, I didn't abandon them I was waiting for him to leave the home due to the restraining order. She vacated every order that any other commissioner granted me. Later my ex husband informed me that this judge goes to the church he goes to and she is helping him with all of his paperwork and tells him exactly what to say so she can legally rule in his favor. So far she has never ruled against him. I have taken him to contempt court 5 times and all times she agrees he is in contempt but that she isn't going to hold him in contempt. She says she doesn't feel good about doing it, I wonder if she feels good about cashing her paychecks??? I have no recourse and I fear for my children ever time they have to go over to my ex's home. He was so abusive and there is nothing I can do! I was told that when I walked away from my ex that that would be the last day I would be abused, the real abuse started the day I walked away and Schienberg got assigned to my case!!!

My husband has been in living nighmare since his divorce. Commisioner Schienberg signed off on $4000 child support and alimony when his exwife filed. He was never notified of the hearing. She signed off this amount with out financial proof of his income or my husband being present. The child support worksheets (which would have put the amount at $900) were not used. He never made enough to pay this and was told he could not petition to have it changed for 2 years. When he went back she said there was nothing she could do but award his ex-wife her judgement for 124,000 in back child support plus interest!!!!! She even said the ex-wife did not deserve one penny but awarded it anyway. Her budy the Child Support Lawyer even laguhed at the amount because it was so much. She said my husband would never be able to pay that. Now he can not own property or even get a passport to go on vacation until he pays the ex.

Ms. Scheinberg is on a power trip and it is very dangerous territory in being before her in Court.

As many of these posts describe, she makes hasty, long term and very life altering decisions, in a split second.

She treats family members like criminals…this is not criminal court lady….these are every day people, dealing with very difficult legal family problems.

Schienberg dishes out Institutionlaized Abuse of our citizens, many of whom are low income and victims of abuse.

She gaffs as she removes people from their homes or property, and grunts that she does not address Property in her courtroom.

I saw her demand a woman, who had driven her partners car to court that day….be demanded to hand over his keys immediately ….but her car? In pieces in his garage, and he was not ordered to do anything to fix or hand it over. The woman left crying, with no ride home, and he then had two cars at the courthouse, and hers at home. What a bitch. She has no common sense. She deserves to be treated as such.

I mail the Governor each time she is up for appointment. Because of her I have lost nearly all of my property, pets, have a record….and I did not break one law.

Her rulings are never consistent and she is constantly putting children at risk and is never on the side of the father. I have filed petitions against her for unfair rulings and have been successful in those matters.

She constantly judges pee for their past and not for the good things gs they have done since their past history. She should be removed from the bench and ordered to spend the rest of her life in isolation 1000 feet underground with nothing to eat but 2 beans and piss for the rest of her fucked up lifs. That would be justice.

I would put zero if I could. The biased, unequal nature of Judge Carin Schienberg is nothing short of disturbing. The lives of families and children are in this woman's hands. Temporary custody was just granted to my ex-husband. With his DV history, his drug history, even despite his lies in court (which I proved to be lies) the list goes on...Her reason?
"Obviously you are not taking me seriously Ms. S*****y." I did not "take her seriously" because I cannot afford to pay for a $1500 up-front evaluation. But I will gladly do one if she would allow a different doctor. So she uprooted my children, took them from their school, from their home, from their siblings! She should not have the power to choose for children, for families, for anyone. She does not review paperwork, she makes up her mind before she even walks into the courtroom late! Her eye rolling, curt responses, and refusal to listen is disgusting. I could continue on about this woman for days! I wonder if she ever reads up on her reviews?

The term "Honorable" should be reserved for our military men and women. Period. NOT a biased, pompous, unmethodical and unruly Commissioner. I am referring to Carin Scheinberg. She recently directed me to physically harm my child and lock her out of my home during her father's parenting weeks. This is verbatim. She was indignant and stated she "didn't bother to read" my child's delcaration of emotional abuse because she was a "minor" - she is almost 16. She fined me $100 for contempt and $500 in legal fees. I requested a GAL, a Modification to the PP citing valid RCW's and dismissal of the attorney award as I am an unemployed mother of six children. She ignored everything I stated. We were over and done in less than 5 minutes. There were many,many pages of declarations. She obviously had her mind made up before I even entered the court room. REMOVE THIS FALSE GOD FROM OFFICE AT ONCE!

Saying that Scheinberg is sexually biased is a huge understatement. She commonly disregards RCW's and enforces personal ideals and opinions. She is rude, refuses to listen, and lets GAL's do her job for her with no concern of the quality or thoroughness of their work. Clark county GAL program is the laughing stock of WA state. No format and noone to answer to regarding quality of work. When deciding the fate of families, ignorance and personal opinions have no place in the courtroom. In my case alone she has violated 7 rules of WA state judicial cunduct rules in canon 1 and canon 2.
Save our tax dollars and spare our families. Scheinberg needs to be removed from office. I am just another victim. My appeal is in the works. I hope i get an actual judge who enforces RCW's instead of a power tripping "God" imposing her will.

The overall talk is she has it out for men. Maybe this is why she is not married and has no children of her own.

She allowed my ex to take daughter 1000s of miles away. He did not serve me with notice of hearing, is a convicted rapist and just released from years of revolving doors of prison in 2007. Manipulated and played them all like a fiddle.Obvious they don't read anything prior and just dont care, not her child.he gave her false reports & statements, all unsubstantiated allegations, denied my right to due process, and 3 of my Constitutional Rights were clearly violated. wouldnt let me speak. ignored family court report for dad but i was guilty and prejudged. her court reporter lied also in notes and cps worker gray never informed me of placement hearing, lied, coerced daughter, illegally detained her. they cover each other.Underground so-called power and all about $$money on other people mishaps. Their judgment day is close. never seen anyone go to heaven or hell with a bank account or uhaul.
