1 in 4 Commissioners got this case right. Brad Moore already dismissed this felony fraud case 7/2022 to stop ongoing insurance and bank fraud by PLAINTIFF. Attorney/Commissioner Moore knows insurance fraud and he did a great job of trying to stop it.

HILLMAN is just part of the game with his crony and extremely corrupt local ATTORNEY who thinks he's getting away with stealing homes. Can't wait for his to look for the soap in Federal Prison. He is the most arrogant piece of crap I've ever met and he's the same f'd up attorney who refused to help widow back in 2021. He thought he'd get rich stealing her home and 5 Judges have helped him act above the law. Too bad he can't fool Seattle FBI and US Attorneys.

Do the MATH 5 King County Superior Court Judges aid felony $1M Medicaid Theft 2015-2024. Serial mortgage fraud felon was desperate for cash to feed his addiction so he stole $836,000 home using a void power of attorney and no purchase and sale. 5 JUDGES refuse to stop INSURANCE-MORTGAGE-TAX-MEDICAID-MAIL-WIRE-DOCUMENT FRAUD well documented by Bellevue TITLE examiners, Federal Law Enforcement, Department of Licensing Notary Fraud, WA Dept. of Revenue Excise Tax Evasion, HomeStreet Bank fraudulent loans using 1st names only and no signatures. Same HomeStreet Loan Officer is criminally tied to her relative with a scam investment/construction company so at least a dozen crooks have divided $650,000 of granny's money.
All of them will be named and prosecuted for their crimes. They've never offered restitution but serial financial predator in this case had 42 fraudulent scam mortgages in 37 years in King County and brags he'll never do jail time.

`Commissioner Hillman has ruled against me, a frequent pro se non-attorney litigant, many times. I've always learned something from those rulings, and I've never concluded that he was wrong about them or ruled out of malice. He's smart and experienced, and he does everything by the letter of the law. If you're an attorney, you better know the law and your facts when you come before him. A few reviewers complained that he can be cranky, but considering the avalanche of paperwork he has to wade through every day, who wouldn't be at times? I suspect that everyone who gave him bad ratings here were litigants who lost before him and deserved to lose, or were attorneys who didn't like that he really knows his line of work and reprimanded them because they didn't know theirs.

The ABSOLUTE WORST I have EVER encountered!!! He told me upfront he didnt look at ANY of my evidence filed. He ruled in Favor of an Attorney trying to steal my home and the Witness ( HSBC BANK) didn't even show up. My house is in My name and He didn't care to look at any documents. He was BEYOND RUDE, ERROGANT, Condescending... He has signed off on a Writ to the Sherrifs office to evict me from MY OWN HOME!!! HE IS CORRUPT & believe bought off by the banks etc...~ He told me during the hearing Affidavits of proof that I had in my case mean nothing, that I have no rights in his court... Time to expose this "UNHONORABLE" monster!

This judge is biased, and out to destroy people's lives. He handed out restraining orders like candy bars, without looking at pieces of evidence. And like what the other people say, he only LISTENS to LIES, not looking at facts presented to him. Because of him, my family is destroyed by his "I do not care" attitude to young children. He should not serve in the family court! He is out to destroy families. I lost all my hopes in the family court system, super biased.

Who gave this man this job? I have been in front of Mr. Hillman 3 differnt times. The first he chastised plantiff's attorney about procedural errors in front of all attending. Completely inappropriate! The second and third visit to have my case heard Hillman ignored evidence provided and took one side over other side with 4 different wittnesses present but did not allow testimony. Completely rude and very arrogant! Has made me feel I'm loosing faith in our courts!!

Horrible Commissioner!! Shouldn't be allowed to proceed over emergency Family Law cases as he doesn't care to take the child's best interest into consideration. He also claimed that he was going to set the case over for Family Law to decide and never scheduled the hearing causing the child in the case to remain in danger longer than they needed to. Never let him proceed over another emergency Family Law hearing!!

Unfit for the bar. One of the most arrogant jurists I have ever practiced in front of. Through 3 states and close to a decade of practice, I have never come across a judge/commissioner who is so consistently rude, dismissive, and disrespectful to both litigants and attorneys. I believe he tries to bait attorneys into pushing back against his oral rulings so that he can sneer and stick his nose up at whomever dare question his word. Simply, the man is a prick. I do not say that lightly as I have great respect for what our jurists do, the problem is, I do not think he has that same respect for his own profession. I long for the day that he retires or is otherwise forced from the bench. A modicum of decency from Hillman would change the tenor of this post, but as he has only come across as jaded and angry, I would not hold my breath. This post is not based off of one bad ruling. I have had many rulings go my way in his court and even in those instances I find his demeanor and attitude to be disgustingly callous.

I have observed the court behavior of Mark Hillman, and I am deeply concerned for our judicial system. This commissioner, during a hearing, found an attorney filed a summons that was not correct and Mr. Hillman carved out time, during the hearing, to instruct the attorney. Then he asked them to complete it correctly and resubmit as an amendment. It was an Unlawful Detainer hearing. In these hearings if the summons is incorrect the court has no jurisdiction to allow amendments, only dismissals and I hope the attorney files an Affidavit of Prejudice, unfortunately Mr. Hillman may end up being the commissioner for the Affidavit of Prejudice, which makes no sense. If you submitted an HR complaint at work, and the person you were complaining about was assigned to review your complaint against them, would that be correct and logical?!?

As a citizen, we have a duty to call out anyone who refuses to follow the RCW's of our state and work to ensure we have just, honorable and "discreet persons learned in the law" in our courts to ensure those who are appointed deliver full and complete justice. I have not found evidence that Mr. Hillman delivers justice.

Commissioner Hillman should not be allowed to serve the court system!!!! He is very very very VERY bias towards tenants!! When the tenant didn't show up to trial on her 2ND show cause hearing, he CALLED HER and took he oath over the phone and conducted her testimony over the phone!! He bent over backwards for her. She hasn't paid the rent for 3 whole months and had no solid excuse but he LISTENED to her AND was rude and condescending towards us just because we were the landlords. He even through out some parts of our money owed like UTILITIES AND LATE FEES! Nearly through out $400 worth of rightful money owed to us! I wish we could get another commissioner to review our case and see how bias commissioner Hillman was. It was CRAZY to observe such imbalanced behavior!! He needs to be investigated!!! Although we got the judgment in our favor, he seemed so so hesitant - as if the tenant was his own daughter or something! It was the weirdest experience we've ever had! If you are the landlord, AVOID HIM if you can!

We observed him with a similar case as ours and he was very different with them (whites) than us! A total bias! Mark Hillman is a HORRIBLE, CONDESCENDING and RUDE commissioner!! I was very disappointed in his demeanor towards us and was very very VERY bias towards the tenant. The tenant did not pay the rent for 3 months!! But all he cared about was if we filed one tiny doc correctly. It really had not much to do with anything!! AND we had already gotten a judgement in our favor from another commissioner and he basically threw it out! It’s not our fault that he can’t agree with his fellow commissioner’s decisions! I can’t believe this guy works for the court system! He did not care about our case one bit!!! Someone needs to remove him from the bench ASAP!!!

Commissioner Hillman is a fair and non-biased Commissioner. Something it seems the Family Court system is lacking at times. He rules by the law, and reads everything submitted to him. He is great at seeing through lies, and artificial testimony that is build around just trying to hurt or cause power and control upon the other party. King County needs more Commissioners like Hillman on the bench in Family Court. My rating would is an 8 instead of a 10 just because he can get a bit cranky sometimes. However having to deal with the people he has to deal with on a daily basis, I completely understand.

I have been in front of many commissioners and Commissioner Hillman ranks near one of the worst. His cavalier and condescending attitude are beneath the position he holds. His ability to grasp complex areas of claw and court history are well below average. His, frankly, well over his head.

Comm Mark Hilman ordered my 3 yrs old daughter to travel out of the united srates to the philippines with her mother for 2 weeks vacation and ignor my pleading and the warning sings of parental child abduction/kidnapping. I have not seen my daughter or here her vioce since march 17th of 2016 when i dropped her off after visitation. I warnned him for over 3 yrs we have been coming to court because she continues to find away to abduct my daughter and he simple ignor me because i am a black men protecting my daughter. Because of his order the TSA could not stop the Abduction and the security in Taipa could not stop the abduction. I droped my daughter off on march 17th 2016 at 4pm, crying and begging the mother of my daughter not to kidnapped my daughter because i no my daughter will not see me again. All because comm mark hilman has ordered my daughter to travel to philippines for a so called vacation which i warnned him is all lies and she is kidnapping my daughter. A reporter contact him to let him know what he has done to me and his response was he has no comment because the case is now criminal. How can we protect our children when comm like mark Hilman are making then venurable to be kidnapped and abducted.

Commissioner Hillman is not motivated by law, but by the own powers of his own beliefs. There does exist patterns of extreme bias against men. Moreso, his biasness increases based on the race of men. He tends to judge at points in the areas of color of self oppions as law and ordinance has nothing to do with selected cases.

I should have commented two years ago. However it's taken me this long to come out of shell-shock.
I too contend that this is the worst commissioner, I also agree that he glosses over pertinent facts and acts oblivious to the merits of law.
My daughter now lives with her father whom she not only made clear discloser of sex abuse by him,to authority figures, and others including me. Any "reasonable" person ( i use the term lightly) would not have possibly let it go unheard. Even her art displays red flags and screams in volumes alone. "HELP".
I know that Judge Hillman has been the project coordinator for several years of the King Co DV and maltreatment response team. I believe he still writes the opinions on how the courts use their protocol in DV cases. He is a shame no doubt!!!

I went to court to support a friend and was shocked by how this judge just seemed to gloss over the information, otherwise he would have ruled it a clear case of contempt. Instead, he said he was on the fence about it and after well over a year of the husband disobeying the parenting plan, he has been given months to prove that he can comply, which he still isn't doing. It's the children who are suffering in this situation.

This is the worst commissioner in all of Washington. I have been stuck with him two times, and both times I stood no chance right from the beginning. I am a women and I saw him judge against women over and over again before I went up. I saw him arrest a women for a simple bench warrant, saw him give custody to a man who had a severe history of abuse on his ex wife, and I have seen him being rude to multiple female attorneys. If you are female, you stand no chance.

He gave a male who was behind $10,000 in child support a $3,000 temporary reduction over 6 months because he took a lower paying job. The law is clear on what is to happen when someone is underemployed and seeking to get child support reduced. Hillman's job is to follow the law not make exceptions for dead beat dads.

He's doing tremendous damage and so far has been unchecked by any upper authorities. He needs to be removed from the bench ASAP! I heartily agree with the previous lawyer's comments. Somebody needs to help us reverse all the illogical orders Hillman is enacting. I and other women (and children who're affected by his extremely poor judgments)have been biased against due to our gender. I have been (unfortunately) in his Kent Family Law courtroom 4 times now and seen how the women (and kids) are victimized further (are penalized more) while the male perpetrators (domestic violence abusers, driving under the influence of alcohol w/kids in their cars, escapees of paying child support or maintenance due to their wives, etc.) are just about totally let off of the charges brought against them. He's dismissed my visual and professional evidences (professional doctors and police reports included)as well as the last CASA findings ordering my abusive husband to attend the domestic violence perpetrator's program.
