I'm a criminal defense attorney that recently worked a civil matter. Listening to the matters before mine I realized that few, if any, of her decisions were based upon the law. Her personal bias appears to interfere with a fair hearing. I won my matter, but she ran all over the pro se litigant.

I'm so mad at what she has done to me in my child custody hearing. She didn't appear to read the materials, she was rude, and she constantly interrupted. Sure I got off point!!!!!! I'm not a lawyer. But, I had truth on my side. I think her calling in life is to perform gay weddings.

I observe King County Family Courts regularly. I've sat in her court as a court observer. OMG - Could not believe the bias spewed, lack of due process, and ignorance of rules of evidence. This Commissioner should be returned to being an attorney, as she is does not help give this court dignity.

Not a real impressive performance in Court. Either she didn't have adequate preparation time, or she just does not have the intellectual ability to understand anything more than the simplest of motions. In the future, I'll just hand my motion for revision to the opposing counsel at the hearing.

My first time in court. I thought I was abused by my child's father until I went before Judge Gaer. She put me in the wringer and spit me out. I still don't know where I landed, but gallons of tears later I am resolute. Fire this Judge!

Comm. Gaer went beyond the scope of the requested relief to attack me personally. Totally uncalled for, and not related to the case. Now, there is an official record of my being chastised by her in court. You bet my ex uses this uncalled for personal attack against me, time and time again. I hear attorney's talking about her in the hallway. She is not too well like by the local attorneys. I second that. She is the worst judge/commissioner that I have ever seen.

I too was a pro se client and she went back on a previously passed ex parte motion. I am now very distraught and so are my children due to this ruling as they are now in an unsafe environment and out of my care every week.

If you're a pro se litigant, run for the hills. As a former public defender you'd think she'd have a soft spot for the disadvantaged. Nope. Pray she is never appointed to be a judge.
