Breathtakingly arrogant, especially given that her ignorance of the law was evident several times during the case. She seemed to have a very cozy relationship with her staff, engaging in ex parte communication with them (concerning MY case)and allowing them to offer their opinions. Perhaps she believes it takes a village to run a courtroom?

Commissioner Thomas is growing into her job. She is a bright and capable judicial officer, but I believe she needs some seasoning. Her demeanor has improved, I would agree with other posters that on a bad day she can be short and dismissive to parties and lawyers. However, I have seen her temperament improve over the last few months. She prepares for court and knows the cases. Sometimes though she rules from the hip and makes decisions that are difficult to follow or internally inconsistent. I think she is compassionate and cares about the litigants that come before her. Give her another year or two and I think she will be great.

unfortunatly Indu Thomas does not bother to learn the federal and state acts. This caused me several thousand dollars. Luckily while the other judges in TCFC are just as arrogant, none of them are as willing to break the law!

Unfortunately not able to handle any portion of the job. Gives the impression that she does not read the material, is not even handled in applying the law or simply does not understand the law, and not consistent to any degree. Her temperment on the bench is arrogant, rude and completely unacceptable. Only one Judge in Grays Harbor has a worse temperment on the bench. She is also extremely disrespectful and hostile to pro se litigants. She is also very rude to attorneys. All one needs to do is listen to a tape of the proceedings. Her abilities have NOT improved over time, but her arrogance has grown with time. She has no business being on the bench.
