Judge Allred appeared very annoyed at having me in his court as a Pro Se litigant. I didn't want to be there as one, I had an attorney hired and was ready for trial. There was a scheduling issue as my attorney had another trial starting on the day we were to start.
The Judge was asked for a continuance and that was denied, a reconsideration was offered and it too was declined, even though it laid out that in 13 days, a trial starts and I'd be on my own. This was a 3 year long CIR termination case. I'd never asked for a continuance the whole time. My case was originally tossed out by Catherine Schaffer (idiot) and I was forced to seek the Court of Appeals, (COA) There, my evidence and witnesses were seen and they angrily sent this case back to Schaffer to "try again"
Judge Allred was assigned our case when Schaffer retired (no notice by the Court for a month. A hearing was held to hear my request to Bifurcate this complex case but while arguments were heard, that temporary judge moved the hearing forward and alerted me that Schaffer was retired. So no lawyer, no continuance and I had to upload, label and present over 600 pages of Evidence and prepare to take this case on by myself in 10 days.
I fumbled in court but with me bringing 20 testimonials from a wide range of our community, 8 on-stand witnesses (2 weren't cross examined..!? All the emails and texts from 2006 forward to 2020: My ex had no witnesses and hardly any exhibits. Represented by Veronica Freitas, she shifted her story in real time, wasn't able to answer truthfully and spent 20 minutes per question arguing the evidence I had before her to read and admit that she'd sent and meant.
Judge Allred said to me on the 3rd day, "You've done an amazing job. I'm honestly very impressed with what you've been able to do here. You've done an outstanding job for not being a lawyer."
On day 4, a CR 41 motion was called by opposing. 2.5 hrs later, I'm told that I haven't proven anything. None of the Connell factors, not even Pennington. Creasman was even cited which was overturned long ago.
I think Judge Allred likes a clean, organized Court. I think he likes to "get his gavel on" and run the room like a captain. I don't think he knows anything about the CIR doctrine nor do I believe he placed any faith in my research or the previous findings of fact by the COA who stated that there most definitely is a "there" there.
I believe Judge Allred is a simple human who wants to be seen as a professional. I think he lacks the energy to investigate or see something objectively enough to see both sides until the end.

While I wasn't allowed a continuance, for damned good cause, the date of the trial was shifted 2 days forward, the night before and we waited 2 days to begin. All my witnesses and everyone involved were made to reschedule their lives because Judge Allred couldn't manage his court schedule. He ruled that not one of the Connell factors were established by me in a 14 year CIR claim.. The F? Any moron could listen to my ex change answers within 20 minutes, not be able to explain where funds went or where they came from. He didn't see her father's testimony outlining how his side of the family saw us. Captains of the industry we worked in, claiming what they saw, an 8-9 month investigation by L&I prior to this case, which laid out how much money of mine went into her accounts before I was "paid" my allowance. My ex admitted to their findings but Allred I guess felt as if I was just a mean guy trying to destroy my ex.
I'm aiming for the COA again and again, pro se. I trust 3 judges, an appointee, next!
