She was a horrible uneducated lady who didn't even take a look at my dcyf case and all the hoops I jumped through for them for a year. All she saw was my abusive exs parenting plan and granted him what he wanted. History of 10 years long of domestic violence and proof he was never the primary parent and he got what he wanted. She was able to use medications I was on legally to judge against me. Which is against the law . She didn't even listen to any recommendations from dcyf for my parenting plan She just automatically went with anything my ex wanted. She is so unfair and doesn't judge with all evidence put in front of her. She makes personal judgements based on what she thinks is right which is so far from what is. SHE WILL RUIN YOUR FAMILIES LIVES FOR THE HELL OF IT.

she has destroyed my daughters and my son lives, and there are only babies and tried to kidnap my other children for profit. Further more to say, she is practicing baby selling which is human sex trafficking and most of all its is illegal to sell baby, baby brokering, making bribes and illegal actions just to make a profit of my children in the foster care, she didn't protect my kids but allowed shaken baby syndrome, and laughed about it. I am a mother who loves her kids and she destroyed everything, she makes 40,000 to 80,000 per child adoption in her bank account, and secondly her husband is a sex offender who raped a 14 year old,what does that tell you that a commissioner should I say acting commissioner breaks law and allows child abduction which is illegal in the first offense. I am not afraid to speak the truth, but a laywer can't be a commioners

As an attorney with over 40 years of practice in Washington State, I have never come across a member of the bench as ignorant of the law as Commissioner Chavez. She is utterly clueless.

If I could give a 0 I would!! This woman is a monster! She has a vendetta to purposely ruin lives! She puts children in danger at the hands of abusers and states things such as “well he can’t be that bad if you were with him that long” and tells domestic violence victims to shut up when she completely ignored there turn to speak and they asked if they get a chance to talk... then when corrected she says “well you better make it freakin fast” she is not fit to have any kind of power and I know first hand that she has endangered innocent children based on her lack of care. I think she probably has deals with certain lawyers where they pay her to rule in their favor!! She should be in jail! Even lawyers know how evil she is!! Worst judge in the area hands down!

The most unprofessional person I have ever met in my life. This woman has no business making decisions for families and dictating children’s lives. No concern for children. Completely inconsistent with decisions. Makes deals with shady lawyers. Absolutely awful. Acts like a child herself.

Clearly one sided. Encourages and accepts bullying and lies from my ex and his spouse with no evidence provided. Chavez doesn't need to have the power to judge anyone's situation. Loves to hear the sound of her own voice with her sermons to justify her judgments. Talks in circles when trying to explain her decisions. Seems to me Chavez most likely has underlying issues of her own, and should not be the deciding factor of other people's lives or the lives of their children. Tami Chavez needs to be yanked off of the podium immediately!

The Honorable Judge Tami M. Chavez just allowed my abuser to continue harassing me through the legal system. The only evidence she allowed was a letter from a counselor, who is an intern and still under supervision, and the information in that letter was four months old. Now I have a protection order stating I can't physically harm my minor child, without any evidence even being presented that I had ever caused her physical harm. She also ignored the fact that I had previously won a restraining order against my ex husband. Now he will take this protection order and use it against me, as he has filed in court to modify our parenting plan. He did so immediately after her ruling. I'm also a licensed professional and this smears my good name.

Do not have the words meditate day and night on this tyrants rulings in my own case makes me wonder about other peoples how unjust she is in her daily work she sticks up for bad stay away from her rulings if possible

The unprofessionalism of this commissioner is profound. She has an obvious dislike for men, and makes no attempt to hide her bias in the courtroom. She enables sociopathic females in her courtroom, and purposely ignores evidence that contradicts their lies. She is the worst thing that could ever happen to a child of a sociopathic mother. She adds to the torture and torment of the father with hateful and rude outbursts in the courtroom. It is a shame, that a city the size of Spokane, can not find someone more fair and intelligent to fill this position. She should be removed from the family law system immediately. Her participation in and enabling of sociopathic behavior will be the detriment of many children and families to come, if she remains in this position. She is a horrible human being, and I am very concerned about the damage she has done, is doing, and will do in the future. This woman is hateful, has no conscience - maybe that is why she relates to the sociopathic women in her courtroom?

HORRIBLE commissioner and a horrible person!! Thoroughly and absolutely messed up my kids lives for 18 looong months! She looked at me and treated me like I was a MONSTER. She has very little knowledge of children with special needs and makes decisions without having ANY proof of anything what so ever! Watch out! Doesn't even deserve 1 star.

This Commissioner is completely inept at her job. She will only look at evidence in a biased way. In some cases completely fabricate situations that never happened and were never argued for by either side. She will admit texts as evidence for one side and not the other. She has shown that she will never put the child first and does not care about a child's well being and safety.
This commissioner should be investigated and held accountable for her flagrant disregard for the law and in one case I witnessed even another Judges orders.
