I have had a number of family law cases in front of J. Veljacic. Representing men and women, he is prepared and completely fair. There are numerous judge and commissioners that make you feel as though you are rolling the dice. Never with this Judge.

Doesn’t seem to care about local rules for filing deadlines. Let other side make arguments from response motions served 4 days late and awarded fees for drafting one of the tardy motions.

This so-called Judge is sexist and extremely abusive. Beware before going before him--he is a political hack and does not know the law, nor does he apply the law even-handedly. Best advice is to try and find a different Judge.
