Judge Mills allows disruptions in court room by attorneys. I was there today for my son, I couldn't hear a thing let alone see the judge as attorneys were talking and walking around. No order or respect in her court room! Long drive for a kangaroo court. Had ppl seated did what attorney did, hell would have broke loose from judge

I have appeared before Judge Mills several times over the years as a local Kitsap County attorney. Judge Mills has been very engaged on all issues before her. She is always prepared and her decisions are thoughtful and well reasoned.

The ratings do not reflect the truth of what is happening in these court rooms. I was made to sign an illegal gag order violating my right to free speech. They make you do that because they know what they are doing is wrong. They don't want you to talk about it. But I will not stop talking. There are more avenues of free speech that are more effective than social media and you are not convicting an innocent family of crimes they didn't commit without a fight.

This Judge is a joke! Clearly unaware of what is really going on in the court room. While she appears to be listening she misses it all and judges based on her personal opinions rather than the truth. She is not concerned with the well being of children and appears to be supportive of child abuse both physical and emotional.

Mills sentencing in the Jamie Lee Chaffin case was pitiful, and only overshadowed by the prosecutor who, unable to prosecute Chaffin's boyfriend (who DID possess the gun Chaffin's child took to school) for anything, chose to go after Chaffin as the only scapegoat available - Chaffin.

This judge ordered a 14 year old black suspect in a brutal racial hate attack be set free, because police washed his clothes after he was arrested. The suspect had been positively identified by the victim. This is unjust and endangers the public further. This judge is an awful menace to the public.

This judge was hearing divorce cases in 2008 while going through a divorce herself. Too bad no one ran against her in the election, they could have easily won, since right during the election period she was going through the divorce. Worst judge ever. Totally ignores civil rules if you are pro se.

She completely ignored Civil Rules 5, 6, 11, and 60 and granted an order in violation of my Constitutional right to due process. I wasn't served correctly, or in time, but she let the motion go through anyway. I'm currently in the process of motioning for reconsideration, sighting a published appellate court ruling in support of what I said. If she denies my motion I will have no choice but to appeal to the appellate court while at the same time filing a Federal lawsuit against her for violation my civil rights. This seems to be par for the course in Kitsap County.

I am not a Kitsap County Attorney and usually expect some difficulty when I travel to other counties. (I have not had the best experiences at times.) I was very impressed with Judge Mills. She was evenhanded, she was fair and very thoughtful in a very difficult decision. I was so impressed with the way she listened to both clients and figured out the situation in an insightful way. I can only say that Kitsap County is well served by her.
