Shoots from the hip, doesn’t follow the law and made a 60 day break between opinining that there had been a change in circumstances and his ultimate ruling on what that means for the parties. Appears to be an efforts to make it harder to appeal his rulings.

He’s harder on possession of cannabis cases than child sexual assault. Good thing someone is running against him in Spring 2020.

Judge Lundell's ego is totally out of control. His decisions are based solely on his personal opinion. Experts opinions are brushed aside. It helps to live and vote and pay taxes in St. Crouc county as I guess he Hope's to get your vote.
In the middle of a proceeding he slipped a lawyer representing the case that was following the current one and made a ruling so this attorney and clients could leave. Unprofessional.

Wish there was a zero also. Judges based on his immoral values.

If I could rate him a zero I would, he has no business referring to himself as honorable. His decisions are not based on what he hears in his courtroom as it seems his mind is made up long before the proceedings begin. He would not announce his decision on a motion made by my sons lawyer in front of the courtroom saying he would provide a written decision and he would not allow the lawyer to present his arguments. All because the District Attorney lied and told him he was unaware the we would be discussing it even though we had waited almost 12 months for it to be scheduled. He then waited 60 days before he posted his written decision denying the motion, I feel he was too ashamed to let all the people in attendance his decision while they could look him in the eye. His decision was based on the fact that he would not admit he made a mistake in the original sentencing, pointed out at the time by my sons lawyer and later by the Department of Corrections. They had asked for a sentence modification yet he waited almost a year while he " took it under advisement" only to state that he was standing by he original sentence. He should have never be re-elected but the good-ol-boy network like to keep their patsy in power.

This court official's performance is not honorable. Judge Lundell is very biased and makes decisions as he sees fit according to his own personal agenda. He thinks he is above the law and is always on some power trip destroying peoples lives. The fact is; he has simply been a Judge for far too long.

When confronted, he conveniently looses critical paper work and court records. I seen a few cases were he has given his friends a break only to

have it come back and bite him in the ass. There are a lot of errors in cases of his that were made even worse by Lundell intimidating unprepared attorneys resulting in critical paper work not getting filed on time or even getting done at all.

Lundell does not disqualify himself on cases were he has personal knowledge of, is personally acquainted with the participants and/ or when his personal interests are directly affected by the final ruling on an upcoming case. He also handles appeals on some of his own cases.

He abuses his authority. An example of this was published in a local paper saying that Judge Lundell tried to sue St. Croix County because his stepson hit a pothole, wrecking the family car and Lundell didn't want to pay the bill.

Any conflicts brought to his attention he pushes aside using his 30 some years of being a judge with certain connections and acquaintances. This information is Lundell’s very own personal cloud cover to redirect the outcome of these cases. He is very opinionated and uses the work of other people with out doing his own research when passing sentence and then does not hold himself accountable for the mistakes that were made. He is quick to blame others for these misfortunes over sentencing people.

He gets away with breaking a lot of laws in the Courtroom. These so called lawyers will not challenge him. They are afraid of the out come. There are consequences and I guarantee you this. These good ol’ boys will be back in front of this 'judge-mental, power-trip-all-rise' courtroom jester. And what gets me is how he keeps getting reelected. There's a lot more going on in theSt Croix County Courts judicial system and it is NOT justice!

Every time we appeared in court he was not prepared. One time we waited two weeks for a ruling and when we showed up he had to be reminded why we were there and then he excused himself for 20 minutes and went in the back room to write his ruling. He then came out and handed it to the lawyers saying they should have recieved it earlier but it must have been lost in the e-mail system. It was obvious to everyone there that he had not done what he said he was going to do.
