He did a great job being impartial on a case that's hard to hear... I just wish he would've considered more than 18 years for the men who took away such a bright young soul in such a horrific way.

I don't think justice was particularly served in this case... but I'm glad it didn't go to someone who only focused on the mistakes the victim made rather than the circumstances leading up to the trial (his murder).

From the second the ruling went through, I've had a sour taste in my mouth. 18 years is something, but it's not enough. Someday in the distant future I'll be bringing my children back to Green Bay to see my parents. I just hope they won't be the groups' next victim, considering these "people" are just allowed to leave their cells one day and live like they didn't just kill a kid.
