Hon. Thomas L. Kay (Davis)
[Redacted by Ed.] I feel victim to Identity theft, he backed the plaintiff, disregarded my testimony and the evidence I presented, he gave 100 percent of my pay check to the plaintiff, and he would NOT allow me the right to see the contract the the attorney for the plaintiff claims has my signature. I'm fact that contract had no bearing on my case (at least that's the way he made me feel). I have nightmares because of him giving away all of my paycheck. My nightmare are of me cashing my paychecks at a bank, then as I step out of the bank, I'm encircled about by the attorneys to take the money when Thomas L Kay steps into the circle and says "there are your available funds." When I refuse to give them the money, Thomas L Kay stabs me in the back and twists the knife causing him and the attorneys all to laugh. These nightmares have been going on for more than TEN YEARS. Reviews by attorneys I've read are: Before the first hearing, he has already decided how he is going to rule in the case. And He picks and chooses what evidence he will and will not allow in his courtroom. Both these statements are true in my case of being a victim to ID Theft.

I have experience with this judge in only one criminal trial. In this matter, the claim by the accuser was unprecedented. The deciding evidence at trial was one or two of the defendant's answers to questions in English, her second language without evidence that she was proficient in it and without a translator or legal assistance. Her defense attorneys failed to rebut a single claim. failed to use fact and expert witnesses and presented none of an abundance of exculpatory evidence. She should have known the trial was biased and unfair. To make matters worse, the elderly immigrant would not apologize for acts she claims she did not do and was sentenced for 25 years, despite an abundance of data indicating her probability of recidivism (assuming she had committed the far-fetched acts) was zero.

Had her mind made up already a year before the case went to trial. Only took notes, listened to and believed a 'psych' that DCFS appointment me to, with a 'doctor' that spent 1 hour with me! Paid NO ATTENTION to what my psych, that has known me for 15 years, also with my therapist that has known me for 2 years.

Judge Barry Lawrence is amazing and listens to all evidence. He makes sure justice is served. I feel so lucky to have had him as my judge.

1=He is a Judge on my husband's case that should recuse himself for being biased, prejudiced and conflict of interest. Maliciously, vindictively with malfeasance intent pursuing a case with weak evidence and not allowing for a fair trial by jury. May 22,2023 WebEx hearing made threats and was unprofessional just because my husband shakes his head No. No excuse for his gross misconduct. I personally don't understand why he is still on my husband's case. A motion was put in to recuse himself, due to the above statements above. Trial in one month with no hope to a fair trial. Including he is supposedly being investigated from my complaints I put in about his poor ethics and violating my husband's constitutional rights, due process under color of law and deprivation of rights under color of law. The most bias and proudly bias Judge I’ve ever seen in action. Definitely works the good old boy system.

In Oct 2017 judge Frost denied a protective order for my children after they reported to third parties that their biological father was sexually abusing them. There was an open case with federal agents. Today he is in federal prison for these crimes. She doesn't protect children.

Hon. Robert P. Faust (Salt Lake)
I can no longer remain silent. [redacted by Ed.] I dated James Okland for 2.5 years and always owned my own home. After we broke up in 2011, I was served with co-habitation 6 months later. Judge Faust treated me like a "Scarlett Woman" because James & I traveled together. In the hearing, a person testified that I did NOT move out of my home yet in the summary of the hearing it stated I DID move out of my house. When I brought that to the court's attention I was told it was a typo. The difference between Did and Did Not is big. Judge Faust stopped my future alimony and ordered me to pay back the alimony with interest. I took this biased ruling all the way to the Supreme Court and in August 2017 they ruled in my favor. Bradley Scott sued me again for the same thing; this time, the Supreme Court ruled against me in July 2019. The costs of attorneys for 8 years and the ruling to repay the alimony (which is very unusual) caused me to file for bankruptcy. Bradley Scott is worth millions, we were married for 25 years and I was a stay-at-home mother for our 4 children. With the help of a discriminatory legal system against women, he has financially destroyed me. I am now 68 trying to support myself with no professional background. I would think Utah with its religious beliefs would have protected me not punished me. Shame on Judge Faust and the entire Utah Legal System. Scott vs Scott Jillian Scott

Hon. Ernest W. Jones (Davis)
When I dealt with him, the only thing he cared about was his conviction rate. He didn’t care that the truth didn’t come out as long as he got a conviction. That is exactly what he told me after my trial.I spent a year locked up with other women who had the same lawyer and Ernie Jones as the prosecutor. We were all 1st time offenders.

I think she means well, but (perhaps because she is young and undistinguished) is too timid to be effective. She seemed cowed by local attorneys and afraid to rule on matters that, in my experience, a seasoned judge would have quickly ruled on. Imagine a diligent judge who is extremely scared and insecure. That's her. I suspect that she rules according to what she thinks she can defend, not according to what she thinks is correct or just.
